Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will plan a romantic dinner for Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), so “Renee” will get a long-awaited island reunion. Tony will face plenty of confusion, so let’s talk about his arrival and how Sarah will react to it.
DOOL fans know Tony recalled Ned Grainger’s (Chris Kalhoon) bungalow in Key West, so that’ll lead to a huge break in the missing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) case.
Ned may be wary of betraying Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), but he won’t want to cross the DiMera brothers either.
Any DiMera is a ruthless DiMera, so it won’t be long until Ned spills where he dropped off Abigail.
Some of the details will probably happen offscreen, but the point is Chad and Tony will find out where Abigail is being held hostage.
Days spoilers say Tony and Chad will fly to the remote island during the week of February 28-March 4.
That’ll bring an emotional reunion between Chad and Abigail along with a reunion that brings shocking news for Tony.
Since Sarah fully believes she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler), she also believes she’s madly in love with Tony.
“Renee” is sort of stuck back in time since she thinks Sarah is a toddler, so she may be surprised to see that Tony’s looking a bit older these days.
Even so, Days spoilers say Sarah will still be crazy about Tony and will rush into his arms with glee.
That’ll catch Tony by surprise and leave him uncertain of what’s going on.
Tony won’t get why Sarah would have such an enthusiastic response to his arrival when he barely knows her.
Tony may call her by name and once again leave Sarah annoyed.
Sarah has corrected Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) more than once when it comes to who she is.
Sarah will no doubt give Tony a reminder and insist it’s his true love – the one and only Renee DuMonde!
Of course, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) is the real love of Tony’s life, but he did love Renee once upon a time.
It’ll be weird for Tony to meet this version of Renee and have her behave like his deceased former flame.
There’s also the matter of Sarah’s obvious mental issues, which are the result of the drug she was injected with.
Tony won’t want to upset Sarah and risk a total mental breakdown, so he’ll think the kindest thing he can do right now is play along.
Tony will have to pretend his way through an awkward reunion with Sarah, which should come with a dinner date on the island.
It looks like Sarah will set the table for two and make sure they have a little romantic time together before the flight home.
Sarah may scold Tony for marrying Anna again and insist they’ll have to rectify that when they get back to Salem.
For now, “Renee” will mostly want this chance to catch up with Tony after being apart for so long.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tony will handle the situation as best as he can, but chaos is really going to erupt once Anna gets updates on all this “Renee” drama!
