Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will likely demand a divorce from Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and dump his wife for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) after the brainwashing works.
Of course, Stefan woke up in the lab before Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) procedure could be completed.
Stefan’s escape will bring his frantic attempt to reunite with Gabi, but Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be highly motivated to catch him.
One way or another, Stefan will indeed be recaptured and thrown back in the lab.
Days spoilers say Dr. Rolf will make sure Stefan is fully sedated and begin the brainwashing again.
It won’t be long until Dr. Rolf is waking Stefan up once more and wondering who his heart belongs to.
At that point, Stefan should be madly in love with Chloe – perhaps to the point of obsession!
Dr. Rolf admitted this isn’t his area of expertise, but Li also pointed out he’s a genius. If Dr. Rolf sets his mind to something, he can usually pull it off.
If Dr. Rolf can revive Stefan after all these years, he can certainly make him adore Chloe instead of Gabi.
Dr. Rolf, Li and Kristen should all be pleased when Stefan only has eyes for Chloe upon awakening.
Gabi, on the other hand, is going to be heartbroken. Days spoilers say Gabi will ultimately get updates on Stefan’s survival, so she’ll expect to pick up where they left off.
Sadly, Gabi won’t get her wish – at least not right away. It’s easy to imagine Gabi planting a steamy kiss only to have Stefan pull back and insist he doesn’t love her anymore.
Since Stefan will want to move forward with Chloe, that also means he’ll want a divorce from Gabi.
Instead of getting a dream DOOL reunion with the husband she didn’t know was alive, Gabi may face a legal split.
However, Gabi isn’t a quitter and won’t give Stefan up without a fight. The power of true love will prevail eventually, but Gabi will face some difficult moments in the meantime.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Stefan’s future will come with bumps in the road, so stick with DOOL.
