Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, July 28 Recap – Jake’s Ghostly Visit – EJ Throws Chad Out – Johnny & Allie’s Pie Fight

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 28, reveals that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) made a ghostly visit while EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) threw Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) out before changing his mind. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) also had a pie fight, so here’s how all Thursday’s DOOL action played out.

In the town square, Allie had a table set up and was getting feedback on two pie flavors: cherry and peach.

That let to Allie and Johnny bickering about which pie Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) would choose, though they were obviously the pies in this scenario.

After the twins tried to drag Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) into their drama, things escalated to the point that Allie smashed her pie in Johnny’s face.

Johnny eventually smashed one in Allie’s face as well as they awaited Chanel’s decision.

At Paulina Price-Carver’s (Jackée Harry) place, she acted like Chanel needed to decide which equipment she liked more in the bedroom!

Chanel argued that she had no issues on either side – and her love for each twin ran deeper than that anyway.

Paulina suggested a pros and cons list, so Chanel started with Johnny since things were less complicated with him.

That led to Chanel’s speech about Johnny’s fearlessness and a story about one time when he serenaded her.

However, Chanel also had a rich history with Allie and felt their deep connection.

After Chanel told a story that proved how empathetic Allie was, Paulina could hear the love for both twins and understood her daughter’s dilemma.

Chanel still knew she had to make a decision on Thursday’s Days episode, so she ultimately texted Johnny and Allie.

It wasn’t long until the twins arrived and anxiously awaited Chanel’s choice.

At DiMera Enterprises, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) showed up to let Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) know that she signed away her shares to EJ and that Chad would probably do the same.

Gabi also got a call from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about Jake’s death and became emotional.

Although Gabi and Jake had broken up, Kate knew Gabi cared about Jake and voiced her sympathy.

At the bistro later, Kate flashed back to her own romance with Jack before Paulina arrived.

Since Kate was drinking alone, Paulina wondered where her boyfriend was.

Kate admitted her split from Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), but she revealed she was currently drowning her sorrows over someone who passed away.

At the hospital, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) approached Jake’s body and touched him before a vision of Jake appeared behind her.

That led to Ava slapping ghost Jake and suggested he lied since he left her like all the other men before him.

Jake insisted this was different, but Ava still wasn’t happy that he acted like a tough guy over the ring and got himself killed.

Once Jake predicted Ava would mourn him and move on, he acknowledged that they had something special and pulled her in for a hug.

Next, Gabi found Ava and realized she was engaged to Jake at the time of his death.

Although Gabi was grieving too, she didn’t want to lose her job over this shares situation with EJ.

Gabi hinted that EJ couldn’t go after Jake’s shares if Ava were his widow.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ reminded Chad that he’d either have to sign over his shares or go to prison.

Chad bickered with EJ, but he agreed to sign over the shares and vowed to do it right away.

EJ took things a step further with Chad’s total banishment and kicked him out of the mansion.

That infuriated Chad and led to the brothers taking jabs at each other over their “crazy” wives.

Tony showed up and tried to calm things down before Chad marched upstairs.

That’s where Chad once again gazed at the empty bed and seemed lost without Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Back with Tony on Thursday’s Days episode, he encouraged EJ to come around and acted like Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) would put family first no matter what.

When Chad came down with the certificates for the shares, EJ softened on the mansion banishment and urged Chad to stay.

Chad wasn’t interested since this was no longer his home without Abigail, so he still planned to move out.
