Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, July 29, tease that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) widow trick will block EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) makes her big reveal. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will also get advice on how to score a second chance, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
For starters, Days spoilers say EJ will try to exploit Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) tragedy.
Since EJ is on a mission to regain control of DiMera Enterprises, he’ll waste no time in going after Jake’s shares.
However, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is ahead of the game since she just approached Ava about those shares as well.
Although Gabi is grieving along with Ava, she’s also worried about her job and doesn’t want EJ to gain the upper hand.
That’s why Gabi suggested EJ couldn’t go after Jake’s shares if Ava were Jake’s widow.
It sounds like Gabi will help Ava work a little magic and make it look like she married Jake before he died.
Some fake paperwork and a pact to keep quiet about the truth are all it’ll take to pull this off.
When EJ tries to score those shares for himself, Ava can claim to be Mrs. Jake DiMera and block EJ’s efforts – at least for now.
In the meantime, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will get hit with another wave of grief. Although Chad and Jake weren’t especially close, they were still brothers.
Chad will no doubt reflect on Jake’s kindness in the aftermath of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder.
We may see Chad wonder if he’s cursed since people close to him keep dying all around him.
Fortunately, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will see that Chad’s struggling and step up to help him.
Days spoilers say Sonny will offer comfort when Chad needs it most, so DOOL will continue to highlight their strong friendship.
Next, Chanel will finally reveal which twin she’s chosen.
Will it be Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) or Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) who wins the fight for a future with Chanel?
Chanel gave some powerful reasons why she loves both Johnny and Allie during her conversation with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
At this point, Allie and Johnny seem pretty evenly matched in Chanel’s heart, but she can only choose one and will have to devastate the love triangle loser.
Elsewhere, Paulina will offer guidance to Kate regarding her breakup with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).
Since Paulina got a second chance with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), she’ll think there’s hope for Kate to get one with Roman, too.
Paulina will give some helpful tips and urge Kate not to give up, so Kate may deliver an emotional plea to Roman soon.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate still has an opportunity to turn things around with Roman, so stay tuned to see how that plan works out.
