Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, May 17, tease that Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) will reverse Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) grim fate after Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has a shocking reunion. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also get some horrifying news, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At home, Allie will try to regain her strength after tangling with the devil.
Like Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Allie will have some memory gaps following her possession and will need some help to fill those in.
Days spoilers say Marlena and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will pitch in with that task, so Allie should hear how Tripp sacrificed himself to save her.
Of course, Allie will also be grateful to Johnny for how hard he worked to bring her back to their family.
While Allie gets updates on the missing pieces, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will finally make it back to Salem.
Since Lucas won’t have Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) with him, he’ll face questions about her whereabouts – especially since Sami’s twins have been through such a nightmare and need their mom.
However, Lucas will make excuses for Sami’s absence to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Days spoilers say Kate will remain suspicious, so it seems she’ll interrogate Lucas alone and try to make sure he’s telling the truth.
Later, Lucas will find out the latest details on Allie and head right over to comfort her.
We’ll see Allie enjoy a heartfelt reunion with her dad, so Lucas’ homecoming is happening at the perfect time.
Outside St. Luke’s, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will race to Tripp’s side.
Tripp just hurled himself out of the loft window to stop the devil inside him, so he’ll be in bad shape as he’s rushed to the hospital.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will be with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) in the town square when she gets a call about Tripp’s scary condition.
It won’t be long until Ava’s at the hospital pushing Steve to tell her what’s going on and whether their son’s going to make it.
Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will need all hands on deck as she struggles to save Tripp’s life.
Unfortunately, Tripp’s injuries will be too severe, so he’ll ultimately die and leave his loved ones to mourn.
Ava will put Kayla on full blast for failing to stop Tripp’s death, but that’ll mostly be due to her crushing grief.
Kayla has come to love her stepson dearly, so she’ll be mourning for Tripp, too.
Steve will also break down in tears over this sudden loss, but a stunning encounter is coming up that’ll change everything.
After Bo wraps up his visit with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), he’ll pay Steve a visit next.
Kayla may get in on this as Bo’s sister, but Bo’s real reason for intervening may be about repaying a debt.
Steve rescued Bo from captivity and saved his life long enough to give him a little more time with his family.
Bo still died of a brain tumor soon after, but he would’ve passed away imprisoned alone if it hadn’t been for Steve.
Plus, Steve and Bo were close friends, so it makes sense for Bo to step up for his buddy here – particularly if it’s not Tripp’s time to go.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say divine intervention will alter Tripp’s future, so it sounds like Bo will undo his tragic outcome and bring him back to life!
