General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, July 8 – Laura Onto Valentin’s Agenda – Britt & Terry Dating Drama – Brook Lynn Jumps the Gun

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 8, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will suspect Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) agenda while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) discuss their dating drama. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also jump the gun, so she’ll have more issues to sort out with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will raise Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) suspicions.

Ned will wonder if they should be looking for a replacement, so he may overhear Cody talking to Comet the horse and grow concerned.

Cody might talk about how this is just a temporary gig and leave Ned questioning whether Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) hired the right person.

Of course, Cody may try to smooth things over and insist he simply wants to own his own ranch somewhere way down the line.

In the meantime, Cody is ready and willing to put in the work as a new stable hand, but Ned will still get a weird vibe.

Olivia will find Cody charming, but Ned will sense that her latest hire is keeping secrets – and those always lead to trouble in Port Charles.

Speaking of secrets, they’ll create some tension for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Victor just caught Anna digging into Valentin’s clinic story over the phone, so that’ll bring a grilling session.

In fact, Victor will want Anna to spell out the exact nature of her relationship with Valentin.

There’ll be suspicions on both sides since Anna knows Victor is shady and worries about the mess Valentin is now tangled up in.

Victor is essentially holding Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) hostage through this boarding school situation, so Valentin has to keep doing his dirty father’s bidding.

That’s why Valentin will move forward with a plan in hopes of getting Laura out of office like Victor wants.

Laura will receive a request that proves troubling and will wonder why Valentin is speaking about her tenure like it’s in the past.

Their discussion will be an unsettling one and won’t get the results Valentin wants, so he’ll have to report back to Victor on his failure.

Victor will have to handle his mayor problem himself, but let’s talk about a different problem – namely the hurdle in Brook Lynn and Chase’s budding romance.

Chase and Brook Lynn will manage to patch things up after their latest fight, but BLQ will jump the gun and assume this means Chase is on board with her new plan.

That could lead to another round of conflict, but Brook Lynn will probably convince Chase she’s got the right idea this time.

Over with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), he’ll push Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to put her ego aside and accept that his op-ed is insightful.

Alexis still won’t agree with Gregory’s opinion of The Invader, but she’ll insist the readers can decide and will make a friendly wager – one that’ll allow Gregory to contribute more if he gets enough support.

At GH, Britt and Terry will discuss work as well as their dating dilemmas. After Britt reflects on her own disastrous love life, she’ll hope Terry has better luck than her.

Terry might even consider giving Society Setups a shot since she’d like to find someone special. While Britt and Terry are commiserating, a surprise arrival will derail their conversation.

That could be Cody if he comes along after his uncomfortable chat with Ned – or maybe it’ll be Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) who shows up to sing Society Setups praises again.

General Hospital spoilers say some complicated love stories are brewing, so there’ll be some interesting twists and turns in PC.
