General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, July 20 – Sonny Plots Vengeful Attack – Sasha Blasts Nina – Cody’s Bad Date Blunder

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 20, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will plot a vengeful attack while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) blasts Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will also make a bad date blunder, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Port Charles.

First, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) won’t be impressed over Cody choosing the stables as their date location.

Things will go from bad to worse when Cody and Britt try to get to know each other a bit better.

Cody will feel like he needs to rein in his wild side, so he’ll tone things down too much and become boring.

Britt won’t hesitate to call Cody out for being humdrum, so he’ll get agitated by the end of their time together.

Of course, Cody will also be trying to score the inside scoop on Britt’s father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), so his agenda should lead to some trouble as well.

Meanwhile, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will have a special open mic night on The Haunted Star.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will tell Linc Brown (Dan Buran) that she’s found something she wants more than fame, so he’ll be curious what that is.

Perhaps Brook Lynn will argue that she’s more interested in Chase’s star power and the potential to make some major cash.

Whatever the case, Brook Lynn will lay the groundwork and try to lure Linc into a trap.

At the boxing gym, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will admit something seems almost too good to be true.

Although Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is saying all the right things and wants Finn by her side, he may have a hunch that she’s hiding how much she’s still struggling.

After Finn opens up to Chase, it’ll probably be time for the soon-to-be popstar’s big performance.

Chase will start battling doubts about going through with Brook Lynn’s plan, which will likely involve taking the stage for Mac’s open mic night.

Nevertheless, it sounds like Brook Lynn will offer a pep talk and give Chase the nudge he needs to go through with her risky idea.

Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will also be at The Haunted Star to live it up.

Marshall will push for at least one drink and a song, so Epiphany should put her studies on hold briefly and have some fun.

Elsewhere, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make a “so far, so good” assessment to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Since Willow’s appointment with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) went wonderfully, Michael may gush over their family’s future.

That future could be in jeopardy depending on Willow’s mysterious condition and the reason for her elevated white blood cell count, but she’ll pretend everything’s fine in front of Michael.

Over with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll catch Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) lurking somewhere and hurl stalking accusations.

Since Maxie will be fed up with Spinelli’s bizarre behavior, she’ll push him to confess what he’s really hiding.

While Spinelli prepares to confess, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will get a disturbing text and sneak off to deal with it.

That’ll set the stage for Austin’s meeting with a mystery man – no doubt the same one he secretly met with in Pautuck.

At GH, Nina and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will battle serious concerns about Sasha, but they’ll take different approaches in dealing with the drama.

Sasha has proven she’s not willing to listen to Brando – at least not yet. That’s why Brando will work another angle by having Sonny care of a threat to Sasha.

Sonny will promise to do this favor for Brando, so this should be the reason Sonny roughs Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer up later this week.

Perhaps Sonny will promise to knock some sense into Felty himself and make sure he never supplies Sasha with pills again.

Next, Nina will push Sasha to admit she has a problem, but Sasha will fire back that she’s not addicted.

Although Sasha will unleash her anger, she’ll also accept Nina’s comfort at some point since dealing with Liam Corbin’s death remains so hard.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha indeed has drug issues to tackle, but she has to want help before she can actually get it.
