The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) may get a real chance at romance, so they could find love after losing Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
B&B fans know Katie clearly still loves Bill, but she can’t trust him and hasn’t been able to move beyond the pain of the past.
Meanwhile, Bill has been growing closer to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and relates to her since they’re both willing to cross any line for the sake of their sons.
New sparks have definitely been flying, so Bill seems poised to give up on Katie and move on with Li.
That could leave Katie saddened despite pushing Bill away. Katie might find herself wishing she’d let Bill back in and given their reunion an actual shot.
Perhaps Katie will end up believing she’s let true love slip away.
That brings us to Carter, who certainly thinks he’s found true love at the moment. Carter is on cloud nine with Quinn, but Rena Sofer’s departure will change the game.
After Sofer makes her last appearance as Quinn on August 29, what will become of Carter?
We know Carter will indeed stick around, but his romantic future is up on the air.
One good option might be to push Carter and Katie together.
Broken hearts could collide and offer a path forward, especially since B&B has toyed with the idea of a Katie and Carter pairing before.
There was a time when it looked like Carter might find love with Katie, but it didn’t pan out.
Katie and Carter felt an attraction to each other, so maybe the show will finally let them explore that and take advantage of the chemistry here.
Once Carter’s ready to open his heart again after losing Quinn, maybe Katie could be the one he connects with.
Carter will need a new love interest sooner or later – and Katie could use one as well.
