The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will keep a secret that deepens their connection, so Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will face a love triangle disadvantage.
During the week of May 16-20, Ridge will fill Brooke in on everything that just went down at the cliff house. Brooke will reel when she learns Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and killed John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), too.
Ridge will explain the confrontation that played out and how Sheila admitted that she sabotaged Brooke on New Year’s Eve. The Champagne label swap explanation will finally help Brooke make sense of what happened that night.
Since Ridge will have sympathy for Brooke, she’ll hope that means he’s willing to move back in. Ridge will still be upset over Brooke’s previous involvement with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), so he’ll only be willing to meet Brooke halfway at this point.
That means Ridge will move in the Forrester mansion and put himself in more neutral territory than Steffy’s guesthouse, which is awfully close to Taylor. However, there’s one part of the Sheila story that Ridge may leave out.
Ridge probably won’t want to make Brooke furious with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) by revealing he knew what Sheila did. Thomas sat on this secret when he could’ve come clean and perhaps stopped the catastrophic chain reaction that followed.
That’s something Thomas will wrestle with as he breaks down to Ridge and explains where his head was at. In the end, Ridge may cut Thomas some slack and feel like his son has paid enough considering everything their family has been through.
Taylor also knows about Thomas being in cahoots with Sheila, so she may speak to her son about that as well. This is obviously disappointing news, but Thomas has done far worse in the past!
Thomas’ silence about Sheila driving Brooke off the wagon is forgivable, especially since he’ll have remorse for how he handled it.
That should lead to Ridge and Taylor keeping a secret under wraps during the week of May 23-27. B&B spoilers say Taylor and Ridge may determine that Thomas’ role in all this needs to remain hidden.
Perhaps Ridge and Taylor will make a pact not to reveal Thomas was Sheila’s reluctant ally – not to Brooke or anyone else! Steffy will be busy grieving, so she may be willing to keep her own mouth shut.
Of course, this brings the opportunity for Taylor and Ridge to grow closer due to what they’re hiding. That’s particularly true since it involves their son, so Ridge and Taylor’s connection will go deeper – leaving Brooke at a disadvantage in this love triangle.
