The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, September 27 Recap – Steffy Predicts Brooke Digs Own Grave – Ridge's Last Straw

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 27, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) predicted Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was digging her own grave and that her view of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) would be the last straw for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

In Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) office, Steffy insisted that Brooke had always had issues with her as well as Thomas.

Taylor felt it was ridiculous to accuse Thomas of being a danger to Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) and make him doubt all the positive changes he’d made.

Steffy thought Brooke resented Ridge’s first family and held it against Taylor’s children, even if she didn’t realize it.

After Steffy said Brooke was digging her own grave, she warned that Brooke’s view of Thomas would push Ridge away “real quick.”

Taylor wasn’t as certain and felt Ridge had to want to get back together, but Steffy felt that her mom should have faith.

Over these last few months, it seemed like Ridge had been more caring and thoughtful.

Steffy once again ranted about the knife overreaction and thought it was a new low for Brooke to think Thomas was a danger to Douglas.

Now that Ridge’s eyes were opening, Steffy felt confident that he wanted to be with Taylor.

At Forrester Creations on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Thomas wondered if Brooke would really call CPS on him.

Ridge decided he shouldn’t have said anything and that no one was reporting anyone.

After Ridge defended Thomas as an amazing father, Thomas said he just wished that Brooke would stay out of their lives for good.

It was clear to Thomas that Brooke had no respect for him as a father – and Ridge admitted that was true.

Once Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) popped up, he acknowledged that Ridge had asked about Brooke.

Charlie confirmed that Brooke was still in the design office and headed on his way.

Ridge hugged Thomas and said he believed in him, so Thomas admitted that meant more than his dad knew.

After Thomas resolved to put all the drama behind him, he urged Ridge to head back to the mansion since Douglas was waiting for him.

Thomas planned to finish up some work and return home later.

As Ridge was leaving, Thomas reiterated that it meant so much knowing his dad believed in him. Thomas added that he wouldn’t be the man he was without him.

In the design office, Brooke was telling Hope about the knife situation when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) joined them.

Liam was alarmed to learn Thomas was totally dismissive of Brooke when he asked her to put the knife away and that he taunted her with it.

Brooke was concerned about the knife, but she was even more concerned about Thomas not bringing Douglas home.

After Brooke warned that Thomas wasn’t a healthy father figure, she said that Thomas hadn’t fooled her and that she’d do everything she could to keep Douglas safe.

Once Brooke left, Hope realized her mom left her purse behind and assumed she’d be back for it.

Liam made another speech about how Douglas needed to be home with them, but Hope was torn since she wanted that and also didn’t want to impede the progress in Thomas’ relationship with Douglas.

Nevertheless, Liam felt they had to stay extra vigilant since Thomas previously had deep-seated psychological issues and might still have them.

Hope admitted the knife story was disconcerting, but she felt that Thomas had shown improvement in his overall behavior.

Liam reiterated that Douglas needed to come home right as Brooke reappeared.

Brooke agreed with Liam and insisted that the only way they could guarantee Douglas safety was if he was in Hope’s care.

Brooke added that she’d do everything in her power to get Douglas back where he belonged.

Once Ridge made it to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place, he played chess with Douglas and asked how he liked living there.

Douglas assured Grandpa he was having a wonderful time, so Ridge said they all loved him very much.

Soon after, two CPS officers showed up at the door looking for Thomas. Ridge answered just before Thomas came home and joined the conversation.

Douglas looked worried as the CPS officers revealed that they were there about him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will work to convince Child Protective Services that Thomas isn’t a threat, so stay tuned!
