The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of April 18-22 tease that there’ll be a Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) amnesia twist that gives Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) a lucky break. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will also reconnect, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will disagree over whether Sheila deserves any sort of spot in their family.
After going through a near-death experience with Sheila on the rooftop, Taylor will obviously be in Sheila’s corner.
Of course, Ridge will remain wary of Sheila due to her history of bad behavior.
Ridge still won’t trust Sheila – and that’s a good thing since Sheila’s responsible for John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death and Steffy’s coma.
The good news is Steffy will come out of that coma and begin her journey to a full recovery. The bad news is Steffy’s memory will be pretty messed up!
B&B spoilers say Steffy won’t remember that Sheila shot her, so that’ll leave Sheila relieved – though Sheila’s guilt and fears will still take a toll.
Sheila will end up biting Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) head off when he offers support.
Sheila will also send herself into a downward spiral later as she worries about the possibility of getting caught and going back to prison.
Unfortunately, Steffy’s memory problems will go beyond not being able to identify Sheila as the shooter.
There’ll be a stunning twist in Steffy’s condition, so she’ll say something that throws Ridge and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for a loop.
That’ll probably involve a comment where Steffy refers to Liam as her husband.
It sounds like Steffy will mistakenly assume she’s still married to Liam, so that’ll cause drama with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Hope will approach Steffy and do her best to jog her memory.
Hope will want Steffy to accept reality and remember that she’s not married to Liam anymore, but Steffy will remain confused.
Liam will serve as a strong source of support when Steffy needs him most, but Steffy’s condition will lead to some clashing.
Ridge and Taylor will fight with Brooke about the best course of action.
Later, Hope will join Brooke in voicing her concerns, but Taylor will dig her heels in when it comes to Steffy’s treatment and what’s best for her daughter.
Over with Quinn, she’ll share a nice moment with Carter as they reflect on some memories.
Carter will be determined to do what’s right, so he should back off Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
That could set the stage for Carter and Quinn’s spark to reignite since he’ll get her to confess her true feelings.
