The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may sabotage Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) blooming love. Will Adam make a bold move as this new couple gets serious?
At the moment, Sally is just enjoying Nick’s company and letting the ride take her wherever it wants to go.
Since Sally isn’t sure how to define what’s happening with Nick, she doesn’t consider them a “thing” yet.
However, that’s likely going to change as feelings grow on both sides.
Falling for Sally is going to bring all kinds of complications to Nick’s life, but he’ll find that he just can’t stay away from her.
As far as Nick’s concerned, his personal life is his own business.
That means Nick isn’t all that worried about the reactions he’ll get, even from people like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Nick certainly isn’t bothered by Adam’s disapproval of his new romance.
Deep down, the competitive part of Nick may like the fact that he’s succeeding where Adam failed.
Nick is the brother who’s making Sally feel safe and happy – whereas Adam broke her heart and stomped all over it.
That doesn’t mean Sally and Adam are over forever, but it does mean Nick will have his own chance with Sally for a while.
The week of October 3-7 will give Nick an opportunity to truly woo Sally. Whatever Nick has in store should bring a smile to Sally’s face and pull her closer.
Sally may find herself falling hard – perhaps harder than she would like under the circumstances.
Although Sally isn’t fully over Adam yet, she just can’t help the feelings that are bubbling up for Nick.
Since Nick and Sally will lean into this magnetic connection and see where it leads, Adam may have to be the one to pump the brakes.
We’re seeing shades of the old dangerous Adam, so it’s possible he’ll try to sabotage Sally’s romance with Nick.
Adam may sense that things are getting too serious down the road.
If this starts to feel like more than a rebound or a passing fling, Adam may get nervous and do something to tear Nick’s relationship with Sally apart.
In other words, Sally and Nick may be doomed from the start – at least if Adam’s vengeful plan works!
