The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will essentially fake date Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) – at least at first. It looks like Ashley will be recruited to score Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) takedown intel, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
During the week of October 10-14, Tucker will be a determined man with a plan.
The main goal of Tucker’s return to Genoa City is to land on Ashley’s radar again and make up for the mistakes of the past.
Tucker will know he’s got a lot to atone for, but he’ll hope Ashley’s willing to hear him out and give him a chance to show he’s truly reformed.
Of course, Ashley will be wary just like Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), but Nikki and Phyllis will hope to use Ashley to their advantage.
After Phyllis and Nikki share their scheme with Ashley, she’ll grow wary and voice her complaints.
It sounds like Ashley will have to surrender to dinner with Tucker for starters.
Ashley may even have to go on a few dates with Tucker and fish for info on his connection to Diane.
Maybe Ashley will push Tucker to sell Diane out if he wants any hope of a future with her.
Of course, Ashley may be playing with fire since Tucker is quite the charmer when he wants to be.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will certainly wonder what Ashley thinks she’s doing when he confronts her.
We’ll see Jack go into protective brother mode and worry about Tucker breaking Ashley’s heart all over again.
Jack won’t know the details of Ashley’s plot with Phyllis and Nikki, so he may wonder why Ashley’s encouraging Tucker’s obsession instead of shutting him down.
Tucker’s promise could complicate matters even further since he may say all the right things.
Ashley will listen to Tucker’s vow and perhaps want to believe he means everything he’s saying.
Grandpa Tucker could have an effect on Ashley as well, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens once he bonds with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
Abby doesn’t want Tucker around her son, but Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) plans to arrange a Dom visit anyway.
Tucker may present himself as a doting family man and tug at Ashley’s heartstrings, so this plan with Phyllis and Nikki could be a dangerous one!
