The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may surrender to some Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) passion and push Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) into her former flame Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) arms.
We know Daniel is set to make a Y&R comeback soon, so that could lead to some form of a reunion with Lily.
It’d be great if Daniel and Lily could reignite their spark, so we have to think about how the show might push her back in her ex’s direction.
Of course, the easiest strategy would be to use Billy and Chelsea’s connection.
Chelsea already planted a kiss on Billy back when they were doing the podcast together, so that’s no doubt a concern in the back of Lily’s mind.
Although Lily accepted Billy’s explanation and was glad to hear he set Chelsea straight, that excuse will only work once!
Billy could easily let Chelsea cross the line again – and this time, he might be a more willing participant.
Despite Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) fury over the Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) bio mom drama, Billy has tried to show Chelsea compassion.
Since Billy understands this is a complex situation, he’s been pretty gentle with Chelsea all things considered.
Billy even bailed on the rest of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) vow renewal party so he could rush off to support Chelsea.
That led to Billy taking Chelsea up to The Grand Phoenix rooftop and showing her his screaming technique to blow off steam.
It was a moment that seemed to bring Billy and Chelsea closer, so the show could use that to build to something more passionate.
Will Billy surrender to temptation and kiss or even fall into bed with Chelsea?
All it would take is one moment of weakness – and that could become even easier if Billy has a fight with Lily beforehand.
Regardless, Billy may end up giving Lily a reason to pull away and veer in another romantic direction – namely Daniel’s since he’s headed back to GC in the near future.
