The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) may kiss Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to cope with his divorce pain. Will Chance ultimately make a bold move to get over Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway)?
So far, Chance is trying to be as understanding as he can when it comes to Abby. In fact, Abby wishes Chance would lash out – just so she could get some sense of emotion out of him.
Instead, it seems like Chance is shutting down and has accepted the fact that his marriage is over.
However, that doesn’t mean Chance isn’t in pain. Ever since Chance came home from Spain, he’s had problems with bottling his true feelings up.
Fortunately, Chance now has Sharon to lean on. Sharon has already been providing comfort and guidance, so that trend should continue in the coming months.
Although Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was hopeful about Abby potentially saving her marriage, Chance doesn’t seem to have any hope for that at this point.
Even if Abby and Chance gave it another go, they would probably end up right back here – heartbroken and facing an inevitable divorce.
Chance may insist on ending the marriage, but it’s going to sting despite their issues.
Although Chance believes this is the only solution, he’ll still have to deal with losing Abby and the family they’ve built together.
The thought of Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) growing closer as a family with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) may add to Chance’s heartache.
Chance may feel like he never really fit in the picture and struggle to handle that.
Since Chance and Sharon are both in need of love interests right now, Y&R seems poised to pair them up romantically.
At some point, Sharon’s efforts to console and guide Chance could take a steamy turn.
Chance may plant a kiss on Sharon sooner or later and leave her surprised by the bold move.
Things will be tricky since Chance has this divorce going on and Sharon is still trying to move past her grief over losing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), but a deep connection could form anyway.
Perhaps Chance and Sharon will sort through their messy feelings together when the time is right!
