The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chance Chancellor (Bryton James) will spy Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in a close moment. Chance may suspect these exes are becoming more than friends, so he’ll raise an eyebrow and perhaps wonder if he should confront his wife!
During the week of October 24-28, Abby will turn to someone besides Chance for comfort.
That should be Devon since they’ll do some bonding at Society, but Abby will quickly realize it’s Devon who needs the most support.
Devon will open up about some of the problems he’s been having with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so Abby will respond with sympathy.
After Devon mentions Nate’s accusations regarding Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), Abby will wonder if there’s any truth to them.
Devon will have to consider whether he’s holding onto Neil’s legacy too tightly and whether he might’ve made it hard for Nate to crack into the business as a result.
However, Nate’s betrayal trumps all in this situation since he crossed the line and broke his family’s trust.
Devon may also admit it’s been hard not having Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) around to lean on, but at least he’ll have Abby to confide in.
Of course, Abby and Devon always find it quite easy to open up to each other and be brutally honest.
There usually aren’t any hurt feelings because Devon and Abby have been friends for so long.
Abby and Devon faced a bump in the road when the Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) custody drama was going on, but they worked through all that.
Now Devon and Abby are as tight as ever, so Chance will grow concerned over what he sees.
As this supportive conversation winds down, Abby will put her hand on Devon’s shoulder.
Chance will show up just in time to witness the sweet gesture, so he may read too much into it.
On the other hand, Chance might have a reason to feel threatened, especially since there have been some disagreements in his marriage lately.
Since Chance has struggled with feeling like less of a father than Devon, that could add to the trouble here.
Chance could easily start to worry about Abby, Devon and Dominic forming a happy united family without him!
