The more time Chelsea spends with Billy, the more convinced she may become that they deserve another shot at happiness.
Chelsea tends to get obsessed in situations like this, so she may become rather infatuated with Billy and set herself up for disappointment.
Even if Billy’s feelings for Chelsea reignite as well, we can’t forget about his love for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
In other words, Chelsea may be chasing after something pointless.
Whether Billy cheats or not, there’s no guarantee Chelsea will be able to keep his attention off Lily for long.
Chelsea might find herself feeling like a fool if she makes a play for Billy and fails.
However, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea may not be the only one who ends up feeling like a loser in the love department.
Adam’s breakup with Sally was for her own good in his eyes, but there’ll be a price to pay. Sally may keep her job, but what about all the heartbreak?
Even if Adam changes his mind later and tries to undo the damage, he might be too late.
Sally may be hurt too deeply to just embrace the idea of an Adam reunion – at least for a while.
It’s easy to see how Chelsea and Adam might be on similar paths to sorrow.
Could shared misery be what sends Adam and Chelsea in the same direction again?

Adam and Chelsea have a rich history to draw from along with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to co-parent, so they’re always going to be connected.
It might take a couple of romantic disasters to make Chelsea and Adam see how much alike they really are.
