The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, June 17 Recap – Allie Shocked Over Death & Paternity Drama – Ashley & Traci Confess

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, June 17, reveals that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will be shocked over a death and paternity drama. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will confess all that along with other Abbott family details, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Society, Traci and Ashley will meet up ahead of their meal with Allie.

There’ll be talk about how they want to make Allie feel welcome in their family from the very beginning, especially since she’s been through so much after losing her dad.

That’ll lead to Ashley and Traci reflecting on some memories of their own father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).

Once Allie arrives, she’ll join Traci and Ashley at a table while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) mentions the special menu she had the chef prepare.

Since Ashley and Traci will assume Allie must have questions, they’ll insist they’re an open book and encourage her to ask away.

Allie will end up quizzing the sisters about their careers, so Traci will open up about not wanting what she wanted to do early on.

After a brief run as a singer, Traci settled on being a writer.

Allie will be impressed over Traci’s success, but Traci will admit there were tough times – like when a diet pill addiction nearly cost Traci her life.

Traci will talk about how she had to learn to love herself before the conversation shifts to all the other people who loved her.

Unfortunately, that didn’t include Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), who was a thorn in Traci’s side for years.

After a flashback of Traci dumping an ice cream dessert on Lauren’s head, she’ll have another one where she reached a place of peace with Lauren.

Traci will talk about how they became friends and will suggest you never know what can happen if you give someone enough time.

Next, Ashley will reflect on her feud with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), which was mostly over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Traci will tease Ashley about being married to Victor more than once, so Ashley will admit they still have a bond – even if that bond looks very different today.

Abby will rejoin the discussion to admit she’s part Abbott, part Newman and part Carlton in her heart.

Allie will hear about Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) and his romances with both Abbott sisters, so there’ll be some fun flashbacks.

After Traci mentions Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok), Allie will be taken aback over the news that Traci has a daughter.

Traci will confess that Colleen passed away when she was a young woman and will reflect on how difficult it was to cope.

Fortunately, Traci had her family to lean on.

Ashley will reflect on her own relationship with Brad next, so that’ll bring an explanation about Brad adopting Abby.

Nobody knew Victor was Abby’s father for years, so Abby will insist she had two incredible dads along with her amazing mom and aunt.

Once the conversation picks back up at the Abbott mansion, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will join in.

Without his brother and sisters, Billy won’t know where he’d be now.

Ashley will tearfully admit she’s a breast cancer survivor and flash back to receiving Jack’s support during her crisis.

All of the Abbott family stories will touch Allie’s heart, so she’ll think her family is something very special.

Jack will be glad to hear Allie talk about herself as part of that family.

There’ll be a mention of Abbott family breakfasts and how that’s the most important tradition in that house. Traci will assure Allie that they’re all so very happy to give her a seat at the table.

After Ashley asks if Allie is enjoying herself or on “Abbott overload,” Allie will laugh and suggest she’d love to hear more.

Although Allie won’t plan on going anywhere, she’ll suddenly get a text from Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) asking her to hang out.

Traci and the others will urge Allie to go have fun, so Billy will walk her outside.

In the meantime, Jack will wonder if Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) came up during any of these Abbott conversations, but Traci will admit they decided not to go down that path.

Jack will think that’s the right call considering Allie’s fractured relationship with her own mother, who practically cut ties with her.

Since Allie’s last encounter with her mom was especially painful, Jack won’t know when or if they’re going to see each other again.

After Traci flashes back to her own struggle to reconnect with Dina, Ashley will talk about finding out Brent Davis was her biological father.

There’ll be some painful memories of Ashley pushing John away, but she’ll be glad he never learned the truth.

“The truth is that you are his daughter; you always were and you always will be,” Traci will assure Ashley with a nod in agreement from Jack.

Ashley will mention how hard Dina worked to move beyond her transgressions and make things right.

Dina had John draw up documents that left her the rights to all the patents and formulas that Ashley created – that way, her paternity couldn’t be used against her to cut her out of John’s legacy.

Although Dina couldn’t remember doing that due to Alzheimer’s, Ashley will flash back to expressing her gratitude.

So many old wounds were healed, especially since Dina was able to tell her family that she loved them in the end.

Jack will talk about how proud he is to call Ashley and Traci his sisters.

They’ll all reflect on future generations hearing their stories and knowing how lucky they are to be an Abbott.

We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R details become available. The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’s much more Abbott family drama to come, so stay tuned!
