The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may fire Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for real after new secrets explode. Diane and Kyle’s mother-son bond may take a serious hit, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is Diane’s partner in crime, which is obviously a big deal and something Diane should’ve disclosed before now.
When Diane and Tucker’s connection is revealed, Kyle’s going to realize his mom has still been hiding things from him.
That alone could bring a setback to the progress Diane’s been making.
Diane desperately wants to create a new life for herself in Genoa City – and she’s been doing a pretty good job of that so far.
Unfortunately, Tucker’s sudden appearance is going to shake things up in the worst possible way for Diane.
Since Tucker has a contentious history with multiple people in GC, being tied to him won’t do Diane any favors.
That’s especially true since Y&R spoilers say Tucker has some new schemes in the works, too.
Kyle may find himself wondering what else Diane is hiding and what she might hide from him in the future.
Diane has a real problem with telling the whole truth, so Kyle may decide to cut her loose at Marchetti.
Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) need people they can trust on their team, but Diane’s about to prove that she can’t be trusted at all.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) already knew that, but Kyle may get a major wake-up call and decide to fire Diane.
Of course, Kyle could change his mind later, but Diane’s secrets could leave him rattled enough to let her go until then.
Diane previously resigned to avoid forcing Kyle to fire her when she broke the rules, but Kyle may take the initiative in this case.
Regardless, Diane will try to do some damage control after her Tucker alliance comes to light, but she could still lose her job and Kyle’s faith in her.
In other words, Diane’s on the verge of landing in a giant mess with Tucker at the center of it.
That’ll bring some consequences, so getting fired by Kyle may be one of them.
