The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 28, tease that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) kiss will stun Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) temper flares. A Tucker McCall recast will also debut, so look for Trevor St. John to make his first appearance and take over the role from Stephen Nichols.
Since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) agreed to have dinner with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), they’ll have a chance to talk about where things stand between them.
That’ll lead to Adam watching from afar at Society, so he’ll fume over the close connection he’s witnessing.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be down in the dumps over Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) rejection, but she’ll still meet with Adam to discuss Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Of course, it won’t take Chelsea long to see that Adam’s mind is on Sally’s dinner with Nick instead!
Later, Adam will confront Nick in private and demand a straight answer about whether he’s sleeping with Sally.
Although Adam pretty much already knows, he’ll be riled up as he pushes for a real confession.
At the Abbott house, Diane will stop by with a toy for Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), but she’ll ultimately admit it’s an excuse to see Jack.
Now she’s made peace with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Diane will wonder if Jack might be able to forgive the mistakes of her past.
Although Jack won’t quite be willing to take that step, he’ll admit he can at least forget about what’s happened.
Jack will essentially wipe the slate clean, so that’ll give Diane the confidence she needs to go in for a kiss.
However, more trouble is just around the corner since Diane’s secret partner will be eager to talk.
Trevor St. John will make his debut as a Tucker McCall recast on Wednesday, September 28, so that’ll set the stage for a tense reunion with Diane.
