The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, April 25 Update – Nikki Confronts Diane - Rey’s Autopsy – Wedding Plans

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 25, teases that Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) autopsy will be done before his body is transported to Miami. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also have a Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) bomb for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so here’s what Y&R has in store.

At Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Camryn Grimes) apartment, they’ll discuss giving Sharon space.

Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will eventually show up, so he’ll join Tessa and Mariah in remembering how much Rey adored Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Mariah will seem fearful at the thought of facing a loss like that – to just have the person you loved ripped away.

Tessa will try to reassure Mariah that she has no intention of going anywhere. Tessa will spark some wedding talk, so Noah will insist they shouldn’t delay the big event because of Sharon.

After all, Sharon made it crystal clear that she didn’t want a postponement.

Noah will think a celebration might be for the best right now, so he’ll get Mariah and Tessa on board with the nuptials still happening next month.

At home, Sharon will decide Rey would want to be laid to rest in Miami, so Nick will call Celeste to let her know Sharon’s decision.

In the meantime, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will extend their support to Sharon.

Abby and Chance will talk about how much they valued Rey’s friendship.

Chance will also appreciate what Rey did for him as a partner and how patient he was over his decision to rejoin the force.

Sharon will be curious about Chance’s final call to Rey since he was the last person to talk to him.

Chance will admit Rey sounded good and was just his typical self.

Sharon will remember how she kissed Rey and told him she loved him at Crimson Lights.

Sharon didn’t realize she’d be saying goodbye forever, but she’ll be glad she has those memories now.

After Abby and Chance head out, Nick will tell Sharon that he made the arrangements for Rey’s body.

After the autopsy’s over, it’ll be sent to Miami for the funeral.

Sharon will determine that she’d better hurry and get to the morgue. She’ll ask Nick to come along and prepare for her final farewell to Rey.

In Diane’s hotel room, she’ll dwell on all Jack’s negativity and get fed up with staying inside.

Down in the lobby, Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will spot Diane in her disguise, so they’ll stop her from going out in the open.

Phyllis will manage to push Diane back in the elevator right as Nikki arrives.

However, Nikki will realize something’s going on and will question the identity of the mystery woman.

While Phyllis takes Diane back to her room for another faceoff,

Jack will tell Nikki that Diane Jenkins is alive. Nikki will think Jack must be mistaken somehow, but Jack will work to convince Nikki that it’s true.

After Nikki hears about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) helping Diane fake her death, she’ll learn Diane claims she’s changed.

Jack will reveal that Diane has resurfaced now for a second chance with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Once Nikki tells Jack to take her to Diane, they’ll land outside Diane’s hotel suite.

It won’t be long until Phyllis opens the door and leaves Nikki fuming at the sight of her old enemy.

Diane will let a slight smile creep on her face as Nikki glares.

After their plane lands sooner than expected, Kyle and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) will call out to Jack at the Abbott mansion.

Since Jack was supposed to be there all morning, Kyle will seem puzzled over what might’ve come up.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s in for the shock of his life soon, so keep watching for more Genoa City drama.
