The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will have a sizzling Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) dream, so a passionate kiss will lead to trouble. Let’s talk about Noah’s trainwreck of a love life and how it’s about to head even further downhill.
Noah keeps insisting that he’s happy for Tessa and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), but the look on his face when he’s around them says otherwise.
It’s clear that Noah is really struggling to move on.
Things will get even more difficult after Noah has a hot dream about Tessa during the week of February 7-11.
Noah will drift off to sleep and imagine he’s at Crimson Lights. That’s where Noah will share an intense kiss with Tessa before waking up and realizing it wasn’t real.
This seems ridiculous considering Tessa has declared herself gay in dialogue before.
It’s just Noah’s dream so far, but Y&R is still blatantly ignoring Tessa’s own label and making her engagement story about Noah’s over-the-top heartache.
Honestly, Noah was with Tessa for a few months almost five years ago.
Why on earth would Noah be so obsessed with his sister’s girlfriend after all this time, especially after the way Tessa broke his heart?
Noah and Tessa were never some sort of amazing match.
When they were a couple, Noah complained about how Tessa always opened up to Mariah instead of him – and it was true.
Noah never had the same sort of connection with Tessa that Mariah had.
Tessa later admitted to Mariah that she was only with Noah for his money, though she did think he was sweet and found it easy to pretend she was in love with him.
Now Tessa has come out as gay and has made it crystal clear that she has zero interest in Noah, so his steamy dream feels pointless.
Some days Noah seems like a sad lovesick puppy and other days he seems more like a creepy stalker.
Neither look is a good one for Noah, who needs to accept that people change and move on.
Noah can’t help what he dreams, but maybe it’d make a difference if he’d stop fixating on the past.
Of course, it’d be great to see Tessa give Noah a hard slap if he ever crosses the line in real life.
Otherwise, Noah may just mope harder than ever after he dreams of forbidden flying sparks.
