The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) new fashion line may launch, so Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) investment could offer a chance at more Bold and the Beautiful crossovers. Let’s mull over Sally and Adam’s recent conversation, which seemed like a huge hint about where the story might be headed.
In the January 24 episode, Sally reflected on feeling like she constantly had to prove herself at Forrester Creations.
Sally felt like the same thing was happening now with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who ruined the good thing Sally had going with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at Newman Media.
Adam was quick to remind Sally that Chloe and Chelsea were her superiors for the time being.
However, Adam also felt confident Sally would have her own fashion line again one day.
That led to Sally teasing Adam about investing in her line, but he joked back about focusing on their current business before they launched any new ones.
Of course, all this is interesting since Adam may very well leave Newman Media behind.
The same goes for Sally, who’s becoming increasingly fed up with working under Chelsea.
There’s the potential for Adam to make a pitch to invest in Sally’s fashion line for real, which would stir up Chelsea’s jealousy and anger even further. It’d make perfect sense for the story the show’s telling.
Naturally, it would also open the door to more crossovers between The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
There have already been some great ones since Sally hopped from B&B to Y&R, but there could be others on the way – especially after Sally’s comment about Forrester Creations.
It’d be exciting to see another round of crossover drama and that could easily happen if Sally gets a fresh start fashion line with Adam’s help.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam could get a new beginning of his own if he comes through for Sally and makes her dream a reality!
