The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of August 22-26 teases that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) secret plan will enrage Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) plots a bold move. Let’s talk about all the shockers coming up on Y&R.
On the GCAC rooftop, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will pick up on a new vibe between Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
From where Chloe’s standing, it’ll certainly seem like Chelsea is falling hard.
Chelsea will deny falling for Billy at all and will think Chloe needs to give her a little more credit than that.
When Chloe insists she knows what she saw, Chelsea will fire back that Chloe only knows what she thinks she saw.
Although Chelsea will act like Chloe is misreading the situation, that’ll be a lie.
The truth is Chelsea’s feelings for Billy are indeed growing – and those feelings will lead to a kiss in the podcast studio at some point.
Meanwhile, Victoria will have a daring proposal for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to mull over.
After Victoria smirks and suggests they should be bold, Nikki will wonder what her daughter has in mind.
It’s possible Victoria will pitch in on Nikki’s scheme to destroy Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Then again, this could be some business-related move at Newman Enterprises or simply a plan to celebrate now that the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) crisis is over.
Unfortunately, that Ashland crisis may not be as wrapped up as the Newmans think!
Adam will summon a minion named Lucas (Aaron Schwartz) to GC and will get some help on a wicked new strategy – one that’s sure to make trouble for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
On the August 19 episode, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) decides he won’t pursue the cover-up angle any further and lets the Newmans off the hook.
That won’t work for Adam since he’ll still be scheming during the week of August 22-26.
Could Adam and his secret helper hack the GCPD for incriminating info?
Will Adam want to expose Victor’s cover-up anyway and reveal Chance’s own cover-up as a result?
Kevin will ultimately bang on the door of Adam’s hotel suite and demand that Adam let him inside.
Perhaps Adam will steal the evidence Kevin has acquired and plan to blow this up through some scandalous news story.
Whatever the case, Adam will declare war through his actions and could put several people in jeopardy.
