The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 25-29 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will launch an Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover-up while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tackles a moral dilemma. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also make a plea to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so here’s what Y&R viewers can expect.
First, Nick will derail Ashland’s attack on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Although Nick will step up to protect his sister, it doesn’t look like Ashland’s going to survive this final faceoff.
Victor will take charge in the aftermath and will feel the need to do a little damage control.
We’ll also see Victor hide his trail in some way, so he may make sure Ashland’s death looks like an accident or a simple case of self-defense.
In reality, the truth might be more complex if Ashland perhaps suffers a heart attack during his showdown with Nick.
It’s possible Nick and Victoria will allow Ashland to die instead of getting him the help he needs in time.
Nick will open up to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) later as he wrestles with a moral dilemma, so she’ll offer some words of wisdom.
Perhaps Nikki will urge Nick to accept that the world is better off without Ashland and understand that people have breaking points.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will tackle a new project, so that could involve some shady Newman business and leave Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) concerned about yet another mess.
Over with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), she’ll make inroads with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and hope she can keep building on her success so far.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) certainly won’t approve of Diane’s progress, but she may have other matters on her mind for once – namely the possible sale of The Grand Phoenix.
After Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) calls Phyllis’ motives into question, she may push for answers about why Phyllis would even consider selling her beloved hotel.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will deliver some difficult news and work to protect Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), so that may involve shielding his son from updates on Ashland’s death.
Harrison will need to be told eventually, but Kyle will want to proceed with caution – especially since the kid had graveyard nightmares when he previously thought Ashland was dying.
Kyle may tell Summer about Ashland’s fate and come up with a plan on how to handle things with Harrison for now.
Victor will guard what’s his and refuse to let any of this Ashland drama tarnish the new era of Newman Enterprises.
The company has a bright future with a mostly united family at the helm, so Victor will work to keep it that way.
Next, Adam will get some words of wisdom from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) while Nick offers guidance to Sally.
The question is: Will Adam and Sally listen to those advice-givers?
Later, Sally will push Adam for a clean slate, so she may once again urge him to drop the act and accept that she wants him over this Newman Media CEO job.
It’ll still be tough for Sally to believe that Adam could just turn his feelings off like that.
Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she’ll hide something from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
That could be a surprise to lift Tessa’s spirits following her surgery – or perhaps Mariah will keep a secret that would bring career-related disappointment instead.
There might be news about Tessa’s tour replacement that Mariah wants to keep under wraps or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Mariah may work to spare Tessa’s heart some pain and help her through the crisis she’s dealing with.
Finally, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will deal with more conflict.
Working together will bring another round of clashing, so Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) may find a way to use this to her advantage.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some bombshells are looming in Genoa City, so stay tuned.
