The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of March 28-April 1 teases that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will smell a rat while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) becomes a spy. Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) rage will also explode, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.
First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be determined to get Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) out of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life and erase all traces of him at Newman Enterprises.
However, Victoria will throw Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for a loop when she seemingly takes Ashland back.
Even so, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get in Ashland’s face and warn him that Victoria’s going to turn her back on him soon.
It turns out it’ll be happening even sooner than Ashland realizes!
Victoria will decide the best way to handle this is to string Ashland along and make him think they’re still on solid ground.
That’ll buy Victoria some time to set a trap and bring Ashland down.
Although Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will still show signs of struggling, he’ll take Dr. Huffman’s (Jeremiah Jahi) advice about easing back into work.
Chance will try to sell Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) on this being the best choice, but she’ll still have some worries deep down.
Fortunately, Ashley will be back on the scene and will serve as a confidant for her daughter.
Abby knows she can be real with her mom, so she’ll indeed open up to Ashley about her true feelings.
Chance is indeed doing a bit better, but Abby may worry that returning to the force could cause more setbacks and make it more difficult for Chance to heal.
Over with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), he’ll finally return from Peru.
That’ll serve as a glimmer of good news for Victor while this Ashland crisis is still playing out.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will be ecstatic, but she’ll also remain frustrated that Victor dragged Michael into something so risky.
While Lauren pushes for more details, Sharon will do some spying.
Sharon will want to watch over Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and make sure he’s not going off the rails.
Sharon will pick up on another side of Noah, but we’ll see if that’s a good thing or a bad thing!
In the meantime, Jack will pay Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) another visit in Los Angeles and build on their connection.
The trouble will come later once “Taylor Jensen” asks to meet Jack and ultimately reveals that she’s Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
That’ll bring Jack’s meltdown over Diane’s fake death and whatever game she’s trying to play now, especially since a bewildered Allie will be at the center of it.
Allie will bolt from the house after Jack confronts Diane, so things are about to get messy.
As for Ashley, she’ll get updates on Allie’s existence and suspect trouble.
The idea of Jack’s granddaughter suddenly dropping in Jack’s life will make Ashley uneasy, especially since this is happening right after Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) death.
Jack is vulnerable and searching for something to cling to, but Ashley will find all of this a little too good to be true.
Ashley will chew Phyllis out for pushing Jack to connect with Allie and will fear some type of trap has been set.
Phyllis will defend her judgment call and may admit she met Allie, who seemed sweet enough.
Ashley will still smell a rat – and Y&R fans know the rat here is back-from-the-dead Diane!
Finally, Victoria will drop a bomb on Victor and Nikki.
That could mean Victoria will reveal her secret Ashland scam and how exactly she intends to destroy her lying husband.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland won’t know what hit him if all goes well, but there’s always the potential for snags along the way.
