The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Joshua Hoffman is joining the cast of the CBS soap as an RJ Forrester recast. Hoffman replaces Anthony Turpel, who was last seen in the role back in 2018.
RJ is the son of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so there’s certainly a place for him on canvas.
Although RJ has been off at boarding school in Europe, he’ll soon return to Los Angeles and catch up with all his family members there.
RJ will have some career aspirations when he gets back in the mix, so we’ll see if he ends up working at Forrester Creations or doing his own thing.
Of course, RJ could easily play matchmaker for Ridge and Brooke if he decides he wants his parents back together.
Regardless, it’ll be fun to have another character in LA, especially one who’s in the unique position of being both a Forrester and a Logan!
It makes sense that RJ will eventually get a love interest as well, so we’ll pass along updates on any other casting news.
As for Joshua Hoffman, you might recognize him from other roles on Shameless, Girl Meets World, Talia in the Kitchen, Code Black, Criminal Minds and more.
Hoffman seems to have an edgier look than the last version of RJ, so he might turn out to be an intriguing bad boy with a chip on his shoulder.
According to Deadline, Hoffman will begin filming at B&B on March 14. That’ll put Hoffman’s debut as RJ Forrester on April 21, so we’ll offer more details as his first airdate gets closer.
