The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) recently appeared on The Talk with some of his castmates, so that gave him a chance to discuss his character and offer some intriguing insight.
Clifton, Tanner Novlan (John “Finn” Finnegan), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), Joshua Hoffman (RJ Forrester) and Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) all took part in a special B&B segment on The Talk’s November 27 episode.
In that segment, Clifton was asked how he justifies Liam going after a married woman.
Let’s look at what Clifton had to say about that since it offers a hint about his character’s new direction.
“The answer is I stopped!” Clifton insisted. “Listen, this character has been flawed, he’s been misguided… Come on.
If you just read the script, he’s a villain. He’s a villain now. And I am having the time of my life playing him that way.”
Of course, Clifton has made some similar comments on social media, but it’s good to get this public on-air confirmation that Liam’s villain transformation is happening.
It’s clear that Liam’s behavior is out of control lately, but there’s a good reason for that if he’s now in baddie territory.
This bodes well for Finn and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) future since the bad guy isn’t supposed to win!
Finn is obviously the best man in this love triangle, so he should emerge victorious – even if Liam manages to create some bumps in the road for a while.
Liam won’t make it easy since he refuses to take no for an answer and somehow thinks he’s the person Steffy’s meant to be with.
You can bet Liam’s manipulation tactics will intensify in the coming weeks, but Finn will do whatever it takes to protect his marriage.
