The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that the topic of where Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) should live may come up again. B&B fans will recall how Douglas didn’t want to let either of his parents down, so he told the judge he wanted to live with Aunt Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was crushed over Douglas choosing to stay at the cliff house – and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wasn’t thrilled about it either in the end.
Douglas eventually wanted to go home to the cabin, but it seemed like having a break at Steffy’s place was beneficial.
Steffy may eventually have some good reasons to want Douglas back under her roof, so let’s talk about how this might play out.
Steffy has been sounding the alarm over Hope’s romantic feelings for Thomas since she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt.
Thomas’ recovery could be derailed if Hope leads him astray – not to mention Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could end up angry and devastated.
Since Rome will bring a major turning point in this storyline, Hope’s decision to cross the line with Thomas could blow up several lives.
There’s bound to be more drama at the cabin in the aftermath, especially if Hope and Liam split.
It looks like Steffy’s concerns will be proven right, so she may fret over Douglas and how he’ll handle all this.
Douglas will be forced to endure more changes and turmoil, so Steffy might argue that the best place for him is back at the cliff house.
That’s especially true if Steffy fears Thomas and Hope might move in together. Steffy may feel like this is only going to lead to disaster and mess with Douglas’ emotions.
As a result, Steffy might push for custody of Douglas – at least until Hope and Thomas can get their act together.
Even if she doesn’t make it official in court, Steffy could talk to Douglas and get him excited about another little vacation at her place.
It’d be easy for Steffy to take matters into her own hands and try to shield Douglas from getting his hopes up about being a united family with his mom and dad.
