The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, December 15 – Summer Replaces Sharon as Chance’s Date – Tucker’s Formula Theft

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, December 15, reveals that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will get passionate with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) again and pressure him to come up with info that’ll prove his loyalty to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Kyle will argue that he doesn’t know what to deliver and will suggest that Tucker needs to reveal his game plan first. Audra will trust Tucker for now, but Kyle will try to plant doubts in her mind.

At the Abbott mansion, Tucker will show up and extend his hand to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as he offers a truce.

Jack won’t believe Tucker’s actually going to stop coming after Jabot – and neither will Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).

Tucker will give Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) updates on his decision to accept her Glacade offer no matter the price, so she’ll vow to draw up the paperwork and send the details.

Afterward on Friday’s Y&R episode, Jack will tell Ashley and Diane that they need to leak the cover-up news to the press and launch their attack on Tucker.

However, Diane will act like the timing has to be right and will remind Jack that Ashley has to sign over her half of Glacade first.

Diane will also complain about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) absence and suggest that he keeps dropping the ball.

Despite Diane’s support for Kyle reclaiming the co-CEO spot, Jack will make it clear that Billy and Kyle are right where they’re supposed to be.

At Society, Billy will have a giftbag with him when he joins Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who’ll pester him until he reveals what’s inside.

Billy will pull out some snorkeling gear, a beret and a bikini before inviting Chelsea to celebrate the new year in Saint-Tropez.

It’ll be Billy’s way of thanking Chelsea for steering him away from his gambling path.

Although Billy won’t be sure he’s ready to walk away from Jabot, he’ll at least think he should sit on the sidelines for a while.

Chelsea will wonder if Billy can really do that, so he’ll point out he’s got an alternative since Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) offered a position at Chancellor-Winters.

Billy will admit that he feels the need to impress Jack and always worries about letting him down.

It’s different with Jill since she has faith in Billy – not to mention she genuinely needs his help right now.

In the end, Chelsea will think Saint-Tropez can wait until the summer since Billy’s busy in GC at the moment.

Back with Tucker, he’ll show up at Audra’s suite and find Kyle there.

Kyle will push Tucker to reveal his game plan since asking for sensitive info without instructions is like a detective looking for evidence without knowing the crime.

Once Audra comes out of the bathroom, she’ll join Kyle as they listen to Tucker’s plot.

Tucker will want Kyle to find some innovative new product that costs millions of dollars and steal the formula from Jabot.

From there, Tucker will plan to launch the product first and let the breadcrumbs lead to the guilty party when Jack seeks the mole.

Kyle will wonder who the guilty party’s going to be, so Tucker will suggest that he hasn’t decided whether they’ll set up Billy or Diane yet.

It’ll just be whoever can do the most damage at game time.

Tucker will want to upend Jack’s trust in his allies, let the world know there’s a traitor at Jabot, tank their product and launch a scandal.

Once Tucker leaves, he’ll speak to Ashley over the phone and approve the high price she texted him for her half of Glacade. That news will leave Jack hopeful about Tucker’s imminent takedown.

Back with Kyle, he’ll tell Audra that he doesn’t believe Tucker’s claims.

Tucker might trust Kyle to help set up Billy, but he’d never trust Kyle to frame his own mother.

Kyle will think Tucker’s real game plan involves making him the sacrificial lamb.

After Kyle suggests Tucker could double-cross Audra too, he’ll push for her help turning Tucker’s plan against him.

At Crimson Lights, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will tell Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) that some of the guys have been supportive about him leaving the GCPD while others have had a problem with it.

Summer will go on a rant and defend Chance, so he’ll chuckle a bit and get her to stand down.

Once Chance mentions a concert that he’s taking Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to tonight, he’ll admit Sharon’s mostly just humoring him.

Chance will hope to change Sharon’s mind about this particular band once she hears them live.

After Chance reveals the band’s name, Summer will flip out since she loves their music.

As far as Summer’s concerned, anyone who doesn’t like them doesn’t have good taste.

Chance will take a call from Sharon, who’ll have to cancel since she’s swamped with work.

Once Chance hangs up, he’ll offer Summer the ticket instead and leave her uncomfortable.

Summer will try making excuses, but Chance won’t think they’re good enough to miss this concert – especially when his tickets grant them VIP access.

Chance will urge Summer to call him back with her answer later and will warn that she’s not getting out of this without an excellent reason.

Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will find out about the concert soon after, so he’ll call out Summer’s blushing and learn all the details of Chance’s invite.

Summer will worry about heading down this road with Chance and not wanting to turn back. It’ll be hard for Summer to do that since Chance isn’t exactly available.

Daniel will act like Summer’s driving herself crazy trying to resist this attraction. Although Daniel won’t be telling Summer to hop in bed with Chance, he’ll give her a nudge to have fun at the concert with him.

Summer will try to quiz Daniel about the situation with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) now that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is away, but Daniel will take that as his cue to leave.

Once Summer’s alone, she’ll call Chance and decide she’s in if that ticket is still up for grabs.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance and Summer could be headed down a risky path, so stay tuned.
