The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will box Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into the corner. Victor’s concern for his son is valid, but Adam remains stunned that his dad wants custody of his son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Victor has been working on Adam for several weeks. He wants his son to return to Newman Enterprises.
During the week of December 26, Victor informed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that Adam would always have a place at NE.
Of course, neither liked the idea. But in typical Victor fashion, it was his way, and he didn’t care about their feelings on the issue.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor asked Adam if he would return to the family fold.
In Victor’s mind, he was asking Adam to return to Newman Enterprises and reconnect with him.
Adam wasn’t sure if that was the right move. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been good to him, and he doesn’t want to leave Jabot.
Even so, Victor thinks Adam belongs at NE and will do whatever is necessary to see Nick, Adam, and Victoria running his company.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor wants more from Adam than to come back to NE. Victor wants Connor to live with him, at least part-time.
Victor expressed concern for his grandson living with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Victor thinks it would help Connor to live with him and give Chelsea a break.
Victor suggested it would give Chelsea the time to focus on her mental health and get a better footing on her recovery.
Y&R spoilers state that Adam doesn’t like that idea. Connor enjoys being with his mother and doesn’t want to fracture their bond.
Even so, Victor thinks this will benefit all involved, urging his soon to consider it seriously.
With Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) carrying a Newman baby, it will bring more drama for the family.
Sally doesn’t know if Adam or Nick is the father, forcing the trio into another love triangle.
When Victor learns of Sally’s pregnancy, his need to control the situation emerges. He will struggle to manipulate Sally and will find controlling Adam nearly impossible.
