The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) could face consequences for refusing to give Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) what she wants. Y&R fans know Victoria decided to get bold and invite Nate up to a hotel room, so she obviously wanted a hot night together.
Victoria assured Nate that she wouldn’t be insulted or take it personally if he didn’t accept her invitation.
As far as Victoria was concerned, their personal relationship could be kept separate from the one they share in business.
However, Victoria is human and may not be able to forget the fact that Nate turned her down.
Since Victoria is used to getting her way, she might end up lashing out since that didn’t happen for her in this case.
Of course, Victoria may not give up just yet, so it’s important to keep that news in mind.
We may see Victoria seduce Nate and hope she can convince him to take things to the next level behind closed doors.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Nate will cave in since he knows it’s a bad idea to cross that line.
Nate doesn’t want to betray Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) for starters – not to mention this could really complicate his role at Newman Media.
Unfortunately, it’s bound to complicate things anyway now that Victoria and Nate have gotten this far.
Victoria has proven that she can be cold and harsh with Nate when she wants to be – like when they disagreed on whether he could talk Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) out of buying McCall Unlimited.
Even Nate seemed surprised when Victoria snapped at him, but more snapping could be coming up for him soon.
That’s especially true if Nate ultimately surrenders to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in bed instead of Victoria.
Audra certainly has her eye on Nate, so he may not be able to resist temptation once it’s coming at him from every angle.
Nevertheless, it could be a mistake for Nate to anger Victoria since she’s his boss.
Victoria is already going to be annoyed over the hotel rejection and may be downright furious if Audra pulls off a win over her.
This situation could easily lead to Victoria retaliating at the office.
Nate loves the synergy he’s developed with Victoria and truly appreciates how she listens to his big ideas.
Victoria could eventually show off her ice queen side and start stifling Nate’s creativity as well as keeping him out of the loop on critical Newman info.
In other words, Victoria could become cold and distant due to Nate turning her down.
That might be Victoria’s revenge and lead to some misery at the office, so stay tuned for updates on the obstacles Nate might face.
