The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 22-26 tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will want to lay down some ground rules with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. Johnson). Although Ashley will be willing to let Tucker move in her room, that doesn’t mean she’s ready to fully embrace their future together.
Ashley will still feel the need to proceed with caution, so she’ll set some boundaries and push Tucker to respect them.
Tucker might get frustrated if it feels like one step forward and two steps back, but he’ll keep trying to be patient and prove himself to Ashley.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will battle concerns about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and how hard she’s falling for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victor will worry about Nate’s motives – both for Victoria’s sake and the sake of his company.
The last thing Victor wants is for someone to take advantage of Victoria and use her to gain power, especially after how things played out with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Although Nate does seem to have a real bond with Victoria, he’s also hoping to keep climbing up the corporate ladder.
There’s no denying that Nate’s ambitions are driving some of his decisions here, so Victor may end up grilling him and offering a warning.
Other Y&R spoilers hint that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will send out an SOS call. After receiving a surprising gift, Sharon will ponder a mystery that’ll ultimately lead to bad news.
Based on May sweeps preview info, we know Sharon will seek Nick’s help and keep his attention off Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for a while. Sharon will sound the alarm eventually, so Nick will come running when she calls.
That’ll give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) an opportunity to grow closer to Sally despite her push for him to back off. Adam can’t move on from Sally when they’re having a baby together, so he’ll cling to hope for a romantic future with her, too.
Of course, there’s a chance Sharon and Nick could rekindle their relationship depending on how things play out with a threat from the past.
Cameron Kristen (Linden Ashby) is a baddie who could be making a comeback – though there are other wicked options to consider as well.
No matter what this mysterious threat looks like, you can bet Nick will step up to defend Sharon when she needs him most.
Finally, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will do some digging and make a shocking discovery as a result.
There’ll be some new proof for Chance to find, so he might have a little more faith in the story of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) survival once he uncovers it.
