The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a preview of all the drama happening this summer, so let’s talk about what’s in store. Y&R fans can expect some shocking twists and turns as the action heats up.
For starters, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will manage to make the hostility between Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) even worse.
Although Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) name is on the verge of being cleared, that won’t change Ashley’s opinion about her.
If anything, Ashley will consider Diane even more of a threat since she’ll be free to return to the office.
Of course, Ashley would like to keep Diane as far away from Jabot as possible, so she’ll feel like she has to get Jack kicked out, too.
That means Ashley will move forward with the coup she’s been planning, Jack will have a few tricks up his sleeve.
Thanks to Jack, it looks like Diane may score herself an executive level position within the company and infuriate Ashley in the process.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will do her best to play peacemaker, but that’ll be easier said than done when Ashley and Jack’s sibling rivalry is so out of control.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also get stuck in all this Abbott family drama, so he’ll appreciate the quiet ease of his budding romance with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Chelsea and Billy will deepen their connection as their love story continues on the CBS soap.
Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be a strong source of support for Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) as he deals with all the Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) chaos and any bad news that’s looming.
After Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) becomes privy to Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) deception regarding Phyllis, their marriage will be put to the test like never before.
Phyllis herself may make a last-ditch effort to avoid the cops and wiggle out of a prison sentence, but Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will be coming for her thanks to new proof.
Next, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will tackle the highs and lows of new motherhood together, so it’ll be interesting to see them conquer some challenges.
As for Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), they’ll get a shock when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) makes a huge decision that’ll affect the very fiber of their family.
Could Chance give up parental rights and relinquish his role as Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) second father?
Other Y&R spoilers say Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) return will cause plenty of mayhem in Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) world, so that’ll lead to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stepping up for her.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) won’t get as much attention from Nick as a result, but Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will view it as a golden opportunity to swoop in and prove his undying love for Sally.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also grow closer to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) while secretly plotting with Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver), so there’s the potential for a relationship blowup eventually.
Although Nate will think he’s got everything under control, that’s exactly when things tend to start going wrong in Genoa City!
