Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) is in over her head when it comes to being a mom to Jude Brady. Sloan admitted to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) that she wasn’t truly prepared for parenthood and didn’t understand what she was in for.
Now part of Sloan seems to be regretting the stolen baby plot, but it’s much too late to call the whole thing off!
Sloan can’t give Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) her son back without exposing her scheme, so she’ll just have to find a way to cope.
However, Sloan offered a potential hint about where this Days story is headed.
On the February 1 episode, Sloan acted like a nanny would be the answer to all her problems if a) Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) would agree to hire one and b) they actually had the budget for that.
Although Eric wants to be very hands-on parents, he may eventually relent and see that Sloan could use the backup.
Sloan and Eric have already been struggling to find time for intimacy, so Days spoilers suggest a nanny could help with that and so much more.
As for affording the extra cost, maybe it’ll be possible once Eric’s photography business really starts taking off. If the nanny’s only part-time and perhaps comes cheap, Eric may think their budget can handle it.
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) might even be the one to arrange all this.
Days viewers know Melinda is used to working her magic for Sloan, so she may come up with an affordable nanny for her.
Since Sloan is starting to crack under pressure, Melinda may think she needs to take some of that pressure off before Sloan blows all everything up for both of them.
Of course, Sloan may be wrong in thinking that a nanny is the perfect solution. Bringing a nanny into the picture could be a terrible idea since this person might gather too many clues and connect too many dots.
It’d be easy for the nanny to eavesdrop on Jude’s true identity and become another blackmailer like Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Then again, this nanny might care about doing what’s right and threaten to spill the beans to Eric and Nicole about what’s going on.
In that case, Sloan might get even further over her head if she’s forced to knock the nanny out and hold her hostage – or do far worse!
Adding a nanny to the mix could really send things spiraling out of control, so stick with DOOL for updates on whether some nanny news is indeed looming.
