The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, April 29 – Jordan’s Hidden Keys Lead to Claire – Nikki Confesses to Summer

The Young and the Restless Recap Monday, April 29 Jordan’s Hidden Keys Lead to Claire, Nikki Confesses to Summer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 29, reveals that things will get heated as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) talk to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Victor Newman (Amelia Heinle) about Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) muffled phone call.

Michael will consider the possibility that Claire didn’t know about Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) rescue and that she was creating a distraction as Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) accomplice.

Victoria and Cole will rush to Claire’s defense before Michael apologizes.

After Cole and Victoria take off to investigate Jordan’s motel hideout for any lingering clues, Michael will grill Victor about Jordan’s suspicious bridge tumble.

Victor will assure Michael that he’s not responsible for Jordan’s demise, so Michael will think that seems genuine.

As for the Claire search, Victor will want to double their efforts since time could be running out.

At Jordan’s former motel room on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria and Cole will find a doll in the closet.

Cole will realize it’s similar to the creepy ones that his mother used to collect, so he’ll investigate and find a set of keys hidden inside.

Victoria will think these keys could be a clue that’ll lead them to Claire.

After mulling it over for a few minutes, Victoria will confirm she’s seen these keys before and will excitedly declare that she thinks she knows where they should go.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will join Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) conversation, so Nikki will admit everything is her fault because she called 911 and let Jordan live.

Nikki will explain that Claire suggested they should just let poisoned Jordan face a grim fate, so that news will surprise Summer.

Although Summer will assure Nikki that only Jordan is to blame for her actions, she’ll get honest with Jack after her grandmother leaves.

Summer will confess that she wishes Nikki had let Jordan croak – and she won’t care if that makes her a bad person.

Jack will ask Summer not to share that with Nikki since she’s in a fragile state, so Summer will agree not to.

Even so, Summer will insist she’ll always wish that Nikki had just let Jordan perish.

After Nikki briefly meets with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Lauren will send her home to get some rest.

Nikki will score herself some booze and head to a suite at the GCAC instead, so she’ll hide herself away and start guzzling vodka.

At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will come over since they received some updates from Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who wants to talk to them.

Chelsea will offend Adam by going over the doctor’s rules and telling him what he already knows, so they’ll bicker before settling down for the video call.

Once Connor is on-screen, he’ll seem glum and won’t know if the therapy is working or not.

Adam will bombard Connor with a bunch of questions, but Chelsea will intervene and keep Connor from getting overwhelmed.

After Connor starts talking about dissociations and what his doctor has taught him, Adam will act like maybe it’s OK to check out sometimes.

Connor will snap that he can’t do that since it’s like telling the OCD that it’s normal.

Adam will be apologetic and basically admit he’s got a lot to learn, so Connor will seem OK with teaching him.

After Connor talks about playing soccer with a friend he’s met at his facility, Adam and Chelsea will like the sound of that.

After the call, Chelsea and Adam will grow frustrated over the reassurances that they’re supposed to avoid according to Connor’s doctor.

It’ll lead to Adam and Chelsea unloading their true feelings about how terrified they are, so they’ll feel better after getting some tough emotions out.

Chelsea and Adam will be on the same page about supporting each other as friends through all this, so they’ll share a hug.
