Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, December 16, reveal that Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will drop an emotional bombshell, while Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will lie to her family.
As per the Monday, December 15 episode, it turns out that Anita could have breast cancer.
The show had been evasive about what condition she needed more testing for, and a last-minute biopsy appointment sprang up yesterday, where Anita was summoned to the hospital.
Of course, she was with Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) at the time, so she made an excuse to her daughter as to why she had to leave their coffee date early.
During the December 16 show, it sounds like Anita will continue to hide this from the Dupree family.
Anita may reason that there’s no need to cause concern if there’s nothing there, and her doctor was quick to note that 80 percent of the biopsies are benign.
Will Anita get her results this week? With the way things go down in Fairmont Crest, perhaps it will be Friday’s cliffhanger.
Across town, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) won’t see eye to eye about some future plans he has.
What will these two clash about now? Are they headed for a breakup?
In other news, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday suggest Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will be shocked to find someone in her house, poking around.
Will this be Pamela Curtis (Cady McClain) dropping in to say, “hi”, or is Dani in real danger?
Likely the latter, or someone far friendlier than an “intruder”, but only time will tell.
Lastly, Vanessa is set to drop an emotional bombshell on Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Will she break up with him, or perhaps give him an ultimatum? Vanessa may decide they should be business partners only and stop the “fun” stuff right away!
Vanessa has been pressing for a commitment, and Joey has been skirting the issue. In fact, he used Doug McBride’s (Jason Graham) recent passing against her as a reason that it may be too soon.
The words were harsh for Vanessa to hear, so it sounds like she and the casino owner are on shaky ground.
Beyond the Gates spoilers imply that Vanessa may play hardball where Joey is concerned and cut him off from any table action (wink, wink), so fans will have to tune in to the December 16 episode to see where this storyline is heading.
