The Sweet Message To Katey
The message that Chris shared came on his Instagram Stories. The photo showed him with Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) and Katey, and it was set to the music of Stevie Wonder’s‘Happy Birthday’ song. In his caption, he’d written, “So grateful to share the stage with you!!! @katey_macmullen.”
Sweetly, she replied, and the real-life Willow Tait said, “And you too @chrismckenna.” Well, she wasn’t saying “happy birthday” back to him, because he was born in October. So, she probably meant that she was also pleased to be working with him on the ABC show.
Chris Is Active On Social Media
Chris has been very active on social media since he took over from Charles Mesure as Jack Brennan. Other stars are not so often seen unless they are shouting out official meet-and-greets. Sadly, Katey could be more active, but she sporadically shares things on her Instagram as well.
Laura Wright, Chris McKenna, Steve Burton ( Jason Morgan), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), Maurice Bernard (Sonny Corinthos), and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) seem to be the most active of the current GH cast members. Bradford Anderson can also be found but he seems to mostly share about golf and his passion for the game.
Welcomed To The Show
Chris McKenna was welcomed to the show in February this year. He’d long been acting and his first gig was Dopey in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He was just seven years old at the time. Later, he wrote for shows and movies and acted in shows like Touched by an Angel and State of Affairs.
Very soon after his arrival, he let folks know that he wouldn’t tolerate hate for the cast. He’s also quick to comment on other posts by other cast members, and he pays tribute to those who helped him through his career.
The New Jack
As Jack, McKenna changed the dynamic a bit. He got close to Carly, of course, but he seemed to be brooding but slightly more likeable than his previous actor. So far, fans saw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) back in Port Charles, and he and Jack are not besties by any means, so he tried to take Jack’s life.
Meanwhile, Jason Morgan has his issues with the old Jack and the new. After Carly nearly ended up dead in the hotel room, Jason told her she was done with him and started making ultimatums. It will be interesting to see where Brennan goes with upcoming storylines.
