General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that jury tampering could affect Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial outcome. Will someone go to great lengths to make sure Willow’s verdict works out the way they want?
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been guilty of jury tampering in the past since he had Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) threaten the jury foreman in Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial once upon a time.
It didn’t end up being necessary since Trina was cleared in other ways, but Sonny was still willing to go that far to help her.
Willow is the mother of Sonny’s grandkids as well as Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter.
Sonny is always going to have a soft spot for Nina and won’t want her to watch her child get locked up again.
Plus, Sonny has made it clear to Michael that he thinks it’ll be better for everyone if Willow gets acquitted.
Despite Michael’s disagreement on that, Sonny doesn’t want to see Willow go down for something he believes she didn’t do.
Sonny would much rather see the whole situation go away, which is what he thinks will happen if Willow is exonerated.
We could imagine Sonny resorting to jury tampering if he feels it might be Willow’s last hope of staying out of prison.
However, there are other possibilities to consider if Willow’s jury is going to get tampered with.
Drew himself might even take that route if he fears his new wife may not be cleared any other way.
On the flip side, some GH characters might tamper with the jury to make certain that Willow goes down for this.
If Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) hitman is truly responsible and she wants to put an end to any further speculation about the crime, she’d have a motive to ensure Willow gets a guilty verdict.
Michael might be another option if he really did set Willow up to take the fall for Drew’s shooting.
Perhaps Michael could take things a step further and order up some jury tampering to keep Willow’s out of the kids’ lives permanently.
Whatever the case, there’s no guarantee that Willow’s going to get a fair trial in the end.
Whether Willow is guilty or not, there’s always a chance of jury tampering affecting her fate.
