General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 23, reveal that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial will take a stunning turn when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) makes a courtroom confession.
Tuesday’s GH preview video kicks off with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) admitting she may have made a mistake in supporting Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) attempt to clear Willow.
After Brook Lynn opens up to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), she may talk to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) about Deception’s latest agreement with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
“This is a big deal, and I don’t like it,” Tracy declares on Tuesday’s promo clip.
At some point, Tracy will also bump into Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so they’ll spend some time catching up.
Laura tells someone in the preview video not to sound so surprised, so she may be the one who catches Tracy off guard.
Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll get updates on Portia being subpoenaed to testify for the defense.
Portia will be in total freak-out mode, but Ava will warn her to say as little as humanly possible in court.
Even so, things will take a terrible turn for Portia once she’s called to the witness stand.
Portia will get choked up as Alexis grills her, so she’ll insist Alexis isn’t going to get the answer she’s looking for.
Although Portia will beg Alexis not to do this, Alexis will stand her ground.
It looks like this will lead to Portia being forced to admit she was with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got shot.
Isaiah is Portia’s alibi, but that means Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are about to find out there’s another baby daddy option!
Of course, it’s also possible some scandalous blackmail details could come out in court, but Alexis will have to be careful to avoid riling Drew up with her defense strategy.
However, General Hospital spoilers say some new intel is headed Alexis’ way, so there’s a chance she could learn something else that’ll help Willow’s case.
Could the eavesdropper shocker from the Quartermaine mansion come into play?
Someone was listening in on Michael and Tracy’s incriminating conversation, so Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) or another character might spill that secret sooner or later.
In the meantime, Chase will receive some news that troubles him.
There may be another reason for Chase to worry about Willow’s case and her freedom potentially being stripped away.
Chase will also face another interrogation since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will once again confront him about the missing traffic cam footage.
“Tell me you’re not the one who got rid of that footage,” Dante pleads with Chase in Tuesday’s preview video.
Chase may be offended over Dante’s continued suspicions since he already swore he’d never make evidence disappear.
It was Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) who made that footage go away instead, but that won’t stop Dante from quizzing Chase!
