General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of December 29-January 2 reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a warning for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) hopes for some birthday fun. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will also get closer, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will score some fresh intel thanks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so this news could help Laura as she goes up against Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Speaking of Sidwell, he’ll warn Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that his worth hinges on him remaining a congressman.
If Drew can’t get reelected due to all his scandals, then Sidwell will no longer have any use for him.
As for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll listen as Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) confides in her.
Willow will also derail Drew and Sidwell’s discussion with her arrival at Wyndemere, so she’ll no doubt pick up on the weird tension.
While Lulu and Nathan’s connection grows stronger, Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will make a choice together.
Does that mean Curtis and Jordan will be ready to go all in on their future?
Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will urge Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) not to worry when it comes to Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and her knowledge of his whereabouts.
However, trouble could be brewing since Charlotte told Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) she saw Valentin.
Rocco could potentially spill what he’s learned – or maybe Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) could even blab since he was sitting there when Charlotte confessed, too.
Over with Britt, she’ll decide to have a birthday celebration.
Will Britt convince Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to party with her or could she ask someone like Rocco or even Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to celebrate instead?
Next, let’s talk about a couple of programming changes since an encore will air on Wednesday, December 31.
The show will play a repeat of the 2024 episode involving Lulu’s reunion with Charlotte in Prague.
On Thursday, January 1, GH will offer a tribute to Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer) by replaying Luke’s farewell to Port Charles episode, which originally aired back in 2015.
The current action will resume on Friday, January 2, so the drama will heat up once again.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will get a shock while Laura faces a new demand from Sidwell.
Plus, Sonny will deliver a stern warning to Michael since Willow’s trial isn’t over yet.
Perhaps Sonny will want Michael to be prepared for any curveballs Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) might throw.
Since Alexis will be busy settling on a courtroom tactic elsewhere, Michael should probably worry!
Alexis received a letter about Michael being at Drew’s place when the shooting took place – and she knows Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) saw him.
You can bet Alexis will try to make that info work to Willow’s advantage in court, but she’ll need to do some prep work first.
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll have a significant discussion with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
There’ll be some important things to talk about before Willow’s trial resumes.
