The Young and the Restless Thursday, March 6 Recap: Summer Lies to Kyle – Claire Confesses Worst Fear to Nikki

The Young and the Restless Thursday, March 6 Recap: Summer Lies to Kyle, Claire Confesses Worst Fear to Nikki

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, March 6, reveals that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will lie to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) confesses her worst fear to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

At the GCAC, Claire will arrive to find Kyle embracing Summer as he once again comforts her over Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) disappearance.

After Claire approaches the exes, Summer will take subtle jabs about Claire’s job and include a reminder about the horrible things she once did to the Newmans.

Summer will also ask Kyle to give her a ride back to the office, so Claire won’t be happy about their apparent closeness.

Nikki will pick up on some awkward tension as she walks over.

After Kyle and Summer head off together, Claire will admit to Nikki that Summer seems to have a problem with her relationship.

It’ll leave Claire with concerns about Summer wanting Kyle back.

From where Claire’s standing, it’ll seem like Summer’s getting particularly “aggressive” and “emboldened” lately.

That’ll leave Claire wondering if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might be trying to push Summer back in Kyle’s direction.

Nikki will acknowledge that Summer has a lot of her mother in her and can be a bit of a “bull in a China shop.”

Although Nikki loves her grandchildren equally, she’ll want to help protect Claire’s happiness and won’t want her to feel intimidated.

Back with Summer, she’ll seem quiet as she stops off at Crimson Lights with Kyle.

After Kyle questions whether Summer has an issue with his relationship, Summer will act like she just has some lingering protective feelings.

Summer will quiz Kyle about whether his romance with Claire is really worth it since Victor will inevitably fight against it.

After Kyle assures Summer that it’s indeed worth it, she’ll wonder if he’s falling in love with Claire.

Kyle won’t be ready to make that declaration just yet, but he’ll make a positive prediction about where things are headed.

After Kyle seeks more reassurance that Summer doesn’t have a problem with his relationship, she’ll claim she’s got too much on her plate and isn’t worried about that.

However, Summer will obviously be lying based her expression once Kyle steps out to the car.

At Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) place, Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) will give him glowing updates following her dinner with Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).

Nate will have great news as well since his cancer specialist friend from Chicago is coming today to discuss treatment options with Amy.

Anything that might give Amy more time will be a good thing as far as she’s concerned, so she’ll be grateful to Nate.

At the coffeehouse on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Damian will run into Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Winters (Bryton James).

After Lily introduces Damian to her brother, Devon will waste no time in confronting him about pretending he owns the companies owned by Aristotle Dumas.

Damian will realize additional research has been done on him, but he’ll suggest there’s a lot more to the story.

Since Damian will be evasive and defensive, that’ll only make Devon more suspicious of what he’s hiding.

Damian, on the other hand, will act like his shady behavior has been justified since Nate made a bogus job offer – not to mention he’s had so many life-changing revelations thrown at him.

Lily will seem a bit more understanding than Devon and will agree to check her schedule when Damian asks her to dinner again tonight.

That’ll leave Devon worried about Lily getting too close to Damian and basically setting herself up for disappointment.

Back at Nate’s apartment, Damian will show up and ask Amy if she’d like to have lunch with him.

When Damian finds out about the cancer specialist appointment, he’ll seem hopeful and insist that’s far more important.

Dr. Carol Kelly will arrive for a preliminary meeting with Amy, so Nate will suggest lunch with Damian while the women discuss things.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Damian and Nate will take the first steps toward bonding, but can Damian be trusted?
