In tonight’s Big Brother episode, Rome, Jason, and Melody were all up on the block. It wasn’t the best scenario. Devens should have saved Melody and kept Lyric as a nominee. Though all of his nominees were pretty horrible. Melody could turn on just about everyone to protect herself. The girl has no sense of loyalty. The same goes for Jason. Jason could’ve built something real with Angela.
He could’ve told her about being on Drag Race. He was a returning reality star himself and would’ve fit in nicely with the legends crew. He then ruined that by being two-faced. He had Angela in tears and asking her to be his surrogate mother. And he followed up on that by letting his inner Selena come out.
It turns out she has no sense of loyalty either. Neither does Rome. Rome tried to pretend. He tried to be the nice guy that everyone got along with. Devens forced him to show his true colors and its clear there’s just one person he wouldn’t betray – its unfortunately Lyric.
The same Lyric that he fake broke up with because of his deep feelings for her. They didn’t fool many with the fake breakup. It actually upset a lot of people to be lied to their faces when they knew the truth. Lyric’s sudden habit of flirting with every man wasn’t the brightest idea either.
It had Rome’s people feeling bad for him. It turned off a lot of the women. Some of the men as well. Kamu and Chuk didn’t like the game she was playing. Nor did their finale three, Haley. There was also one person there that managed to tick off his main allies. It had been Drew.
Drew was so busy playing the middle that he couldn’t see how many people just wanted him to pick a side. Dee has this thing where she wants to get rid of Melody as a means of testing Drew. It doesn’t help that Angela was backing her up because she also wanted to see which way the wind was blowing.
They couldn’t see that both Drew as well as Barrett needed reassurance. Barrett hated being the last one to the Toolshed meeting. He thought that meant he was on the bottom of the alliance. He secretly formed a final two with Barrett. He was open with working with Rome.
Mainly for the chaos. Rome being such a big target meant that both sides of the house would get caught up in fighting each other and he could hide in said chaos. He just wasn’t coming right out or promising to align with the others. And that’s where he differs from Drew.
Drew was going to find himself in trouble soon because someone won the BB Blockbuster. It wasn’t Rome. It wasn’t Melody. It ended up being Jason. Jason saved himself in a match game and he didn’t need to turn on Rome to get there. It worked out for him in the end.
Now, that was a smart game play. He was still aligned with that half of the house and he couldn’t risk losing them. He still voted out Rome but how can anyone hold that against him or find out. The first Rome will hear of it was once he was eliminated.
As time will prove, no one had time for another showmance. It was also pretty rude for them to be making out if not more in a crowded room shared with others. The contestants didn’t want to leave either of them around to become another Queen Rachel.
This along with the fact that no side really wanted to push or question Drew so early before the alliance had been cemented meant they all voted against Rome. Rome couldn’t hug everyone out of the door so he announced before everyone that he was in love with Lyric.
He also lied saying he respects everyone there. What a lie. Did he forget the way he stepped to Haley or threatening Devens or calling Angela a jealous fatty because her conversation with Lyric was “weird”? He said during the feeds that Angela was jealous of all the attention the hot girls get.
He said it as if Angela wasn’t a happily married woman with adult children. People really didn’t like that the King of the Woke side went on to say that.
So that hurt him too. This along with the other stuff he pulled made the odds of him winning low and that could be why the only ones voting to keep him did so out of their own self-preservation.
Rome was evicted tonight. Lyric was still in the house and now she and Jason both have to work to untie themselves from Rome’s legacy.
THE END!
