Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of April 20-24 reveal that a couple of significant comebacks are on the way.
There’ll also be some baby-related news along with some uncomfortable moments for former flames, so let’s discuss what DOOL has in store.
For starters, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will get settled in Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) apartment following his hospital release.
That’s sure to bring some awkwardness despite Jada’s insistence that she’s just stepping up as a friend.
Shawn and Jada will experience some flying sparks as this storyline moves along, so this living arrangement will stir up the lingering attraction from their old fling.
As for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), she’ll be professionally obligated to keep Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) secret about Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) being alive.
Of course, Marlena might realize there’s someone else in the loop if Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) confesses during a therapy session of her own.
This is sure to be a tricky situation for Marlena no matter what!
Despite Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) attempts to chase away his pain in Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) bed, he’ll grow increasingly upset over Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) moving on with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will be stuck pining over Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) following his new boyfriend reveal.
As for the DiMera family, they’ll welcome Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) back following his trip with the kids.
Conner Floyd will make his long-awaited first appearance as a Chad recast on April 21, so Chad will be around for Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) chaotic will reading.
That event could bring some curveballs, particularly if Lexie ends up awakening and crashing the gathering.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Chad will catch up with Belle Black (Martha Madison) eventually and most likely insist he’s going to take her on that date he promised.
However, there’ll inevitably be some uncomfortable scenes with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCofrd) once she realizes Chad is back in town.
Cat and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) growing connection could leave Chad jealous as well as concerned.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will soon have some concerns of his own thanks to Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) return on April 24.
That’ll kick off Joy’s latest Days stint and allow her to shock Alex when she ultimately reveals she lied about the pregnancy test results being negative.
Joy presumably has a baby at this point, so Alex and Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) will be thrown for a loop.
