General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 31, reveals that one character’s departure decision will make waves while the Quartermaines brace for another mess.
A blissful couple will also celebrate a win and a fresh start, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
During Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) run-in with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at the Metro Court pool, she’ll get protective of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Drew won’t care about Brook Lynn’s opinion and will warn her about the revenge he intends to inflict on the Quartermaine clan.
At GH, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have questions about the newly hired Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), who brought him back from the WSB black site in Jakarta.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will be the one facing these questions and may learn about the doc’s WSB connection eventually.
Jason will eventually get summoned over to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, where Sonny will apparently be plotting the cheap purchase of his old piers now that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is going on trial.
Sonny will rely on Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) help for what comes next, but Jason will be uneasy about the trust that’s formed between the half-brothers.
Jason may not want to get tangled up in mob drama again either and could potentially offer up his resignation since parenting Danny comes first.
Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll reel over a shocker of some sort.
That could involve the deadly plot that “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) is pushing for since he wants Anna to end Britt permanently!
Now that Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) has arrived in Port Charles, Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) will be ready to make a hasty exit.
That’s probably why Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will react to some shocking Ethan-related info on Friday’s show.
Ethan will feel the need to run from his history, which clearly involves Hudson and his shady secrets.
The summer softball league will bring some warm moments between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as they practice, but Ric isn’t going to be pleased over their growing bond.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) seems poised to connect with Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) too, but there’ll be some competitiveness between them once the game gets underway.
Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a little party for two now that Valentin has access to his money again.
Valentin and Carly will toast to their next chapter as they mull over what it’s going to look like.
