General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) could team up to destroy Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) budding romance.
The GH promo for the week of August 17-21 has just been released, and there’s an interesting set of scenes that seem to hint that Ric and Lulu are set to form a scheming alliance.
Dante and Liz will once again spend more time together, and they’ll find themselves back at Liz’s place after a baseball game, sharing a glass of wine.
Liz is exclusively dating Ric right now, so there’s no way that the nurse will cross a line; however, it’s clear that she and Dante are getting closer, and sparks are flying, left, right, and center!
General Hospital spoilers note that Ric will get an eyeful of something this week and spiral, so he may catch yet another glimpse of Dante and his gal pal bonding and hit the roof.
Ric has waited long and hard for Liz to agree to reunite, and now that they are there together again, he’s desperate to ensure that nothing comes between them and their happily ever after.
Sadly, Liz’s new budding romantic friendship with his nephew is placing their relationship in major jeopardy.
Fans can tell there’s chemistry and something far more than just friendship brewing between Liz and Dante; Ric can see this as well.
So, what’s a desperate man to do? General Hospital spoilers confirm that Ric will reach out to talk to Lulu in the days ahead.
He’s seen in the weekly GH preview video telling Lulu about Liz and Dante’s growing connection and how they need to break this up, or else they stand to lose the ‘loves of their lives.’
Still, Lulu looks unsure during the clip, so this could be for a number of reasons.
She may be skeptical that Dante would fall for someone like Liz.
After all, they’ve lived together in this little town for years now, so why would they develop a romance now?
Lulu may be overall uncertain of partnering up with Ric to tamper with Dante’s personal life, too.
Plus, Dante and Lulu are nowhere near reunion territory, even though she’d likely jump at the chance to give their love one more go.
With that said, Lulu seems to be over Dante, so why would she want to align with Ric?
Doing so would not only ruin their co-parenting relationship (which teeters as it is), but it would also hurt Dante, Liz (whom Lulu is friends/family with), and most of all, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) would be devastated by more family drama.
Still, fans can sense that Dante is the romantic endgame for Lulu, so if she sees him and Liz together and witnesses their chemistry firsthand, will she feel a pang of jealousy?
Lulu is a wildcard who never thinks things through, so while she may decline Ric’s offer initially, she could circle back and decide she’s ‘all-in’ to smash through any bond Dante and Liz have.
General Hospital spoilers note that Ric and Lulu partnering up to this capacity reeks of bad life choices but could also offer some interesting and dramatic moments ahead, too.
