In tonight’s Fire Country episode, people were worried about Skye. Her cousin started going to meetings because of her. He knew it was a big deal when she missed one.

Rick called Skye’s sponsor. Hazel met up with them at the Meat Up and Skye made sure to leave the first chance she could. She didn’t want sympathy. She didn’t want understanding. She felt like going to NA meetings have her telling the whole town her story.

She wasn’t exactly anonymous anymore so she figured what’s the point. She’d rather miss out on her nine month sobriety chip than go back to a meeting.

Skye wasn’t in the right mindset. It’s why she couldn’t recognize the fact that her aunt was using her. She threw herself into work in order not to get high and that’s when her Aunt Miranda explained a few things.

She explained that they were about to take the company in a new direction. They were leaving the traditional wood cutting and they were going to go into cannabis farming.

It’s no surprise this came about now that everyone else involved in the dirty dealings with Emerald Eden were now dead.

Mickey later questioned Miranda. She completely owns up to being Emerald Eden. She claimed that she hired a lawyer to deal with all the property paperwork and that him hiring rogue elements had nothing to do with her. She pretended like she didn’t know that same lawyer had been murdered.

Even the biker who supposedly died in a shootout with cops had also been murdered. Boone and a returned Cassidy found out about it thanks to the Medical Examiner, Emmy. Emmy said the biker had gun residue on his right hand. And it didn’t make sense because he was left-handed.

His knuckle duster was on his left hand. He punched with his left hand. There’s no way he’d start shooting from his right hand. Suicide by cop or not.

They thought he too had been murdered and they just had to prove it. Boone went back to the scene with Cass. He determined that Mack Maguire was already dead before they showed up.

They thought Maguire had fired at them first and truthfully it had been another shooter. Miranda still has one more person cleaning up after her and they made a mistake. They left behind stones that they had lined up.

They had been waiting for the deputies to arrive. They fired at them to create confusion. They put Hank in the hospital. Just for that last one alone, the Sheriff’s department wanted payback and unfortunately they weren’t the only ones. There had been someone who poisoned Sky’s smoothie.

They filled it with fentanyl. She overdosed and her mother was the one that found her. She rushed her to the hospital. Skye’s stomach was pumped and they didn’t know if she suffered from any brain damage. It was a wait and see game.

Mickey called Travis. He blamed himself for being away for so long. She blamed herself for the words she told Skye when Skye didn’t believe her about Miranda, but that had been a lie. Skye did believe her. She only pretended to side with Miranda. She visited her grandpa in jail.

She asked him how they were able to pick a lock on the DEA armored truck. She planned on breaking into Miranda’s safe. She was going to find evidence connecting her to the shadier side of Emerald Eden. Someone poisoned her before she could find the truth.

Mickey went looking for evidence of it. She found it. She found the smoothie cup. It was deliberately put in the neighbor’s trash bin. She had it tested and then she remembered something. She remembered when Rick visited them at the hospital.

He mentioned that Skye overdosed on fentanyl back when they thought it was stimulants. Skye used to relapse on stimulants. She never took fentanyl before. Rick was the one who drugged her and Mickey had thought Miranda ordered it. She hadn’t.

She was just as shocked as much as Mickey was. She also defended her son and demanded that Mickey get a warrant before she accused anyone else in the family of something. Skye woke up in the hospital. She was on the road to recovery. She identified Rick as her poisoner.

He found her snooping through Miranda’s thing and claimed he’d help her. He gave her a bunch of black papers and a smoothie that nearly killed her. Rick was stupid. He was considered a loose end. The last man that worked for Miranda had decided to remove Rick from the picture.

DEA Agent Alec Kane killed Rick. He’s the one that worked for Miranda. He’s the one that shot Hank. He killed Maguire.

He also covered up for Rick because Rick killed Brandon. Alec was tired of cleaning up after him. He killed Rick once Rick tried to get him to kill Skye for him. Alec cared about Mickey only he might be using her too.

THE END!
