It looks as though Jennifer Lopez might be leaning towards an ex for much-needed support these days. There’s a new report that says the singer and actress is reuniting with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. And while the two exes have always been close and friendly for the sake of their two kids, Max and Emme, they are apparently looking to hook up professionally, too.
According to Naughty Gossip, Marc Anthony is teaming up with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez for her upcoming Spanish-language album. Marc Anthony, who manages to make major waves as one of the biggest stars in the Latin Music industry, will be the executive producer of Jennifer Lopez’s album and will also help her market the album to the Hispanic market with a possible tour in the works as well.
Marc Anthony said in a statement, “It is an honor to welcome Jennifer to the Magnus Family. She has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one. Her artistry, professionalism, and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain. I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy.”
Of course, it shouldn’t be surprising that Jennifer Lopez would be looking to her ex to help her out with her failing career. The ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ singer hasn’t had a real hit in years, with both her big screen and television career struggling to come up for air, too. Sure, she might still be considered one of the sexiest women in the entertainment industry, but fans have apparently grown tired of her image and the same content she continues to produce over and over again.
Marc Anthony on the other hand has a much stronger fanbase than his ex and has managed to sell out stadium concerts throughout the Spanish-speaking world. It wouldn’t be a shock if Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony end up rekindling their romance in the coming months as well. Now that Jennifer is single again, there’s no doubt that she’s already thinking about hooking back up with her ex, especially considering that she has such a hard time staying by herself.
