Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Valerie (Vanessa Williams) will get fed up with Lani’s (Sal Stowers) deception. She recently took matters into her own hands by sneaking a peek at Lani’s file. Valerie now knows that her suspicions were correct. She’ll decide to make Lani tell Eli (Lamon Archey) the truth about his baby.
DOOL fans can expect some tense moments next week. Valerie will confront Lani once more and call her out on her lies. She’ll insist that Eli deserves to know he’s going to be a father. Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll argue until an ultimatum is delivered. It sounds like Valerie will vow to tell Eli herself unless Lani comes clean. She might even threaten to spill this secret to JJ (Casey Moss).
Lani won’t be happy about the idea of making a confession, but she’ll be backed into a corner. She’ll go to Eli and share the real story. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will be angry that Lani deceived him. He’ll also deal with some shock over the fact that this is actually his baby.
Eli will certainly be overwhelmed, but Lani won’t think this has to derail everything. She may point out that this kid would be a serious inconvenience for Eli, but it would be the light of JJ’s life. JJ is over the moon about having a baby with Lani, so she’ll probably beg Eli to keep her secret.
This is asking a lot from Eli, but he may admit it would make things easier. Eli would rather wait on having a little one. Plus, JJ had a suicide scare back in December. Eli and Lani will worry about how JJ would react to this devastating blow.
On top of all that, Days spoilers say Gabi (Camila Banus) will be arrested for murder next week. Eli may be reluctant to pile on more drama. If he publicly acknowledges this child as his own, Gabi will know he slept with Lani. Eli may fear that the hookup news and baby drama would be too much for Gabi right now.
Of course, Valerie may be a big problem. She’ll undoubtedly push Eli to step up and be a good dad. Valerie could definitely cause trouble if Eli backs up Lani’s lie.
