In tonight’s 9-1-1 Lone Star episode, Owen found himself in a warehouse with migrants. There seemed to be a guy in charge. He was carrying a gun. He was threatening to shoot people. He told the rest of them that they weren’t allowed to leave. Which created a problem. A problem Owen knew he could fix. Owen made it out like he was just some innocent bystander and that he didn’t care about the slavery that was happening around him, but the second he got close to the guy with the gun, Owen made his move. He took out the gun wielder. He also unfortunately learned that the guy who used to have a gun had friends. These same friends are in the area. They also seemed equipped with their own weapons and so Owen had to figure out how to get people out of there.

Owen was stuck in a ice storm trying to get people to safety as his son was fighting for his life. TK was at the hospital. His friends and boss were trying to get in touch with Owen. No one could reach him. They blamed it on the storm. Not knowing Owen’s current predicament and TK was dying. He flatlined several times. The doctors were doing their best to save him and he didn’t have in him to fight. In his head, TK was back at the house. The storm had passed and he was with his mother. He was checking in with her. He was asking about his little brother and she was trying to tell him to fight, but he was ignoring the signs. He was even ignoring the beeping.

TK could hear the beeping of his own machines in his coma. He was ignoring them. He was ignoring the warning signs and so it didn’t look good for him. TK instead focusing on baking cookies with his mom. Its something they did when he was a kid. He has fond memories of it. His mother in this hallucination tried to warn him that he was running out of time. She also warned him that the harder he stays in the hallucination the harder it will be to return to the real world and he didn’t care. TK preferred it in his own head. There he can stop time. He doesn’t have to worry about the pain or the hard road back. TK was dying because he was choosing to die.

His friend Paul was doing better. Paul was recovering from a hypothermia and it seems he got a new fan. The girl that he saved has a rich father. The father ended up buying Paul several gifts including Rolexes and he even tried to give him a car. Judd had to tell the guy that their job as a firefighter was its own reward. The guy understood. He felt the same about his own career. He apparently sells milk cartons. Not the milk, just the cartons and from that alone he was able to provide very well for his family. But the money didn’t matter to the firefighters. They were glad to save a life.

Owen managed to bring the group of immigrants to his house. He called for help and unfortunately his system was down due to the weather. Owen therefore didn’t know that the cop that later came to the house to help was dirty. It wasn’t until Owen managed to trip him up that he realized the sheriff deputy was in fact working with the cartel. The deputy had a gun. He pulled and made Sadie tie up the immigrants. He also went on a villain speech in which he stated that the people were going to be sent to farms or wherever to pay off their debts and so there was no hiding it. The deputy was a bad guy.

The dirty deputy even managed to kill someone before getting to the house. Marjan witnessed the murder and she sent out a message in case anything happened to her, but she also made it back to the house and she created a diversion. She blew up the deputy’s car. Owen used the diversion to get the gun off the guy and with Sadie’s help they were able to knock him out and tie him up. They called for backup. Help arrived and that included several ambulances. The deputy was arrested along with the cartel member they had captured. And after it was all settled, Sadie asked Owen why he hasn’t signed that letter of apology.

Even Marjan said that family has to stay together. They helped reunite a woman with the children she hasn’t seen in twenty years and so the most that Owen can do is sign the letter. Meanwhile, Grace went into labor. She was at the house getting a visit from Billy of all people when they got into an argument and she went into labor. Billy tried to help. Grace refused all help if it was coming from him. She swore that she could drive herself to the hospital and so Billy came along. He got into the car. He forced Grace to take him with her and, while she didn’t say it, she needed all the support she could get because she couldn’t get in touch with her husband. The cell towers were still down.

Grace later found herself stranded in the snow with only Billy there to help. But Owen and Marjan were coming back. She wanted him to sign the letter and he was fighting her but he doesn’t know about TK or that TK was going into multi-organ failure.

THE END!
